The carnival holiday is commemorated all over Brazil, and during those 3 days, anything can happen. People go out to the streets simply to celebrate life, in the most beautiful ways, such as dancing, singing and wearing costumes.
There is the traditional samba schools parade, that happen mostly in the Rio de Janeiro city. And it is just awesome, the mix of colors and the cheerful music.

The Lemon Festival held every year at the end of the winter, near of when march ends. 

The festival celebrates the harvest of lemons and cirtrus fruits, and because the city of Menton is a important producer of this ones. The festival is mark by great estructures and statues made of lemons and flowers. 

The Lemon Festival was born in 1934 at the gardens of the Hôtel Rivieita, and now is a important turistic event for the city as the event moved into the streets.  Nowadays, the Fête du Citron is a essential part of its history and culture.

But, as every party or festival or specif tradition, the Brazilian carnival has it's singular features, and each state and cities has it's unique features as well.
So, The carnival in Barra do Jucu, Espirito Santo, is lovely because of the familiar tradition overthere. 
And one, that shine a lot, as well every other day during the festival, is the Bloco da lama, where people gater at the center square of Barra do Jucu and tag alone till the moment where the go to an awsome river - and that's funny- called Rio Jucu.
The moment the get to Rio Jucu they take the mud of the river and start to pass all over the body and throw (with a little of safety) at each other, and that's not all, after pass all over the body they go all around the neighborhood and pass the mud all over the wall of the houses. It's an awesome moment where people sing, have lot's of fun and enjoy a realy good time.

The festival happend in Mexico and the traditions include honor deceased people, wear costumes, make altars called "oferendas". During Day of the Dead festivities, food is both eaten by living people and given to the spirits of their departed ancestors as ofrendas. Tamales are one of the most common dishes prepared for this day for both purposes. The celebration is not solely focused on the dead, as it is also common to give gifts to friends such as candy sugar skulls, and share the traditional pan de muerto with family and friends. A common symbol of the holiday is the skull , which celebrants represent in masks, called calacas, and foods such as chocolate or sugar skulls, which are inscribed with the name of the recipient on the forehead.

It takes place between mid-September and mid-October and it was originally designed to celebrate King Ludwig I's marriage, in 1810. 
People liked the celebration so much they started repeating it every year, therefore it became a traditional bavarian festival. Currently, milions of tourists around the world visit Germany to enjoy Oktoberfest. It is also worth mentioning that lots of cities and villages — in which germany culture is present — replicate this festival. 
Nowadays, the whole point of Oktoberfest is to celebrate german culture while in confraternization. Besides beer being the highlight of the event, another typical german elements are found in the festival, such as dishes, clothing and music.

Well, what can I say about it? The name of the festival speaks by itself, right? 
Two of the best things in the world in only one place! The Rock in Rio is a festival that happens at Rio de Janeiro - Brazil, during the first days of september. Like all the music festivals, there is plenty of music, but also a lot of kind of music. I mean, international rock and pop, brazilian rock and pop and it do not stops there, so there are other musical types.

I am going to be honest haha I never been there but it would be great. I mean, plenty of music linked the Rio vibe, isn't it awesome? I suspect yes!

Eve, the people recolleted twigs and dry leaves, and build several bonfires in the streets of the cities fdue to purify all evils.
When the festival beggining, the people celebrate throwing powder and colored paints one on the other.
It's a funny and very beautiful party!

In 2022, this festival was held on February 1st, but it can happen between January 21st and February 20th, because the first day of the Chinese New Year begins when the new moon appears. 
During the festival, Chinese people prepare dishes like dumplings, noodles, fish, spring rolls, and vegetables, and wear red clothes because this is the color of good luck in Chinese culture. 
Furthermore, Chinese people also believe that fire and loud noises can dispel bad luck, so during the Chinese New Year there are a lot of fireworks to "scare away evil spirits".
