2. It is a document drafted by many different people with legal but diverse background. It was proclaimed by the National General Assembly in Paris. It was set out to protect eveyone's rights in the world.
3. Yes, civil rights are protected quite well in America today. However, we can still improve. Human rights especially need to be emphasized in other parts of the world such as the Middle East.
4. I think it is our job to protect the human rights of people in the world. When people do not have human rights it makes it especially difficult to stand up and ask for rights. That is why we should help because all people deserve to live a happy life with freedom.

Yes we need to protect our civil rights still I think that our lives would be very different without them and would change everything
I think we could help if we felt like we should but I don't think that it is our job to help and it depends on the situation because if it involves them needing money or something like that its not our responability

1) (in no particular order) right to express yourself/ideas, right to be free of discrimination, right to be able to satisfy all basic human needs (such as food, water, etc), right to get a good education, right to basic healthcare
2) the universal declaration of human rights is a document proclaimed by the united nations that holds a standard list of achievements and rights that should be available to people of all nations across the globe.
3) we absolutely do - without the rights we are guaranteed today our lives would be very different and much more difficult, and most people don't even realize how greatly the rights they have affect their daily lives. we especially need to fight and work to protect the rights of people in other countries, and also the minorities in our own country. theirs are not always guaranteed and sometimes overlooked.

2. the universal declaration of human rights is a document created by the united nations that states the basic rights and achievements all people in all nations around the world are entitled to.
3. we definitely still need to protect human rights. human rights affect all people more than we may think. if we didn't have the basic human rights we do today, our lives would be very different. even today not everyone in the world and even in the US have all the human rights that they deserve, and we need to work to change that.
4. i think that we do have a responsibility to to ensure everyone's rights are protected. not everyone has all the rights that we do and we should focus on helping others who are more oppressed.

2. I feel that we still need to protect civil rights today because they were created for a reason, and keep us organized, telling us what is reasonable and unreasonable to ask/do/request. Also, these human rights are very fair, and do not require too much work or effort on all people.

I believe that we, as global citizens, have a responsibility to ensure that human rights are protected around the world, because they help people who need some assistance or assurance, get help or be fairly treated. 4. If human nature was to naturally help everyone then I think we would, but some people might be taken advantage of. Still, defending people who can't defend theirselves is always important.
