Our ‘big’ vision in all of this is to see Scotland’s rich spiritual heritage renewed and her historical missional impact on the nations of the world brought to life once again.

We seek to encourage, network & support prayer across the nation through:

• providing prayer guides and manuals,

• arranging conferences, leaders’ gatherings and training events, and

• personal networking both at grass roots and at leadership level in churches and other organisations with a vision for prayer in the nation.

Prayer spaces in schools enable children and young people, of all faiths and none, to explore these life questions, spirituality and faith in a safe, creative and interactive way.

Taking a broadly Christian perspective as a starting point, prayer spaces give children and young people an opportunity to develop skills of personal reflection and to explore prayer in an open, inclusive and safe environment.

The approach does not proselytise and purposely allows pupils to make their own meaning and to draw their own conclusions.

It is with great delight that we are able to announce details for this year’s key national event, once again to be held in Prestonfield House, Edinburgh.

Following the last two year’s events, which were sold out and had the highest numbers of attendees ever, we are looking forward to welcoming MSPs along with other national leaders to this year’s event.  People from the public sector, business, sport and academia will be joined by church leaders and members for this important moment in the national calendar.

Our speaker for this year is Kate Forbes MSP, Deputy First Minister and Cabinet Secretary for Economy and Gaelic.

Our musical contribution for 2026 will once again be from Celtic Worship. Celtic Worship is an authentic expression of sung worship deeply routed in the sound and traditions of Scottish music.

Together, we have built a powerful 11-day prayer journey to unite churches, small groups and individuals across Scotland in a single, focused baton-relay of prayer. As athletes compete on the track in Glasgow, we will be passing the baton of prayer across 11 Commonwealth nations where communities are facing massive global challenges, but where God is on the move.
