Hello everyone, I want you to mention my video which name is ''Color-Coded Surgery''.This is a very instructive video about surgeons. Quyen Nguyen's purpose is demonstrates how a molecular marker can make tumors light up in neon green, showing surgeons exactly where to cut. Until today surgeons are taught from textbooks that color tissue types appropriately, but in real life, tissue types appear monochromatic. - until now. In this instructive TEDx talk, Quyen Nguyen, a prominent surgeon, talks about how light is an important tool for surgeons, the operating rooms of the first hospitals in history were always at the top to receive daylight because of that reason . Besides, it shows surgeons exactly where to cut how a molecular marker, fluorescent lamps, illuminate tumors in neon green over these monochromatic tissues. I think this video could have been made for medical students or people who are interested in medicine and want to keep up with the latest developments in science. Lecture's attitude is informative, due to the fact that the video contains very technical informations, I learn a lot of new facts. For instance, doctors should wait between 20 minutes and 1 hour after surgery to find out whether all of the tumor has been removed or not. I also recognize B2 level words, which are, MOLECULE: the smallest unit into which any substance can be divided without losing its own chemical nature, usually consisting of two or more atoms. INCISION: a neat cut made into something, especially during a medical operation. URGENT: very important and needing to be dealt with immediately. Lastly, I definitely recommend this video to my friends, I am sure that especially anyone who is interested in medical innovations will be watched it with a big pleasure. :)

The video was mainly about what people can obtain from some natural disasters such as earthquakes, tsunami and volcanoes by using science and technology. For example by using science and technology, people can obtain the sediments age by using technology and science on ash layers. Thereby, people can distinguish the sediments and when the eruptions occured. The lecturer’s purpose is to inform people and his tone is instructive. The most intresting thing I heard while wathcing is the borehole seismometer. This invention provides to predict possible eruptions and people can deal with the upcoming eruptions by using it before its occurrence. 3 words that I didn’t hear before are destructive, subduction and ductile. Destructive means causing damage to people or things, subduction means the sideways and downward movement of the edge of a plate of the earth's crust into the mantle beneath another plate. and ductile means able to be deformed without losing toughness; pliable, not brittle.
My classmates can also watch this video, I recommend this video to them. It was an informative video.

Video is about having your data of your own body. If you know your own body’s data your predictions will be stronger. For example, lots of doctors in emergencies trying to make a quick guess about people’s situations with looking majority of people’s situation, and sometimes it can be wrong. Consequently, want your own data everytime. Author’s tone was positive and informative. She wanted to inform people about the importance of getting their own data. I strongly agree with lecturer, because knowing my data would make me feel better about my future. One thing interesting for me is statisticians want data for everything. I recognized B2 level words such as advocate. Three new words I learnt are occasionally, induce, miscarriege. Occasionally: sometimes but not often. Induce: to persuade someone to do something. Miscarriege: an early, unintentional end to a pregnancy when the baby is born too early and dies because it has not developed enough. It was interesting video for me. My classmates can watch this video if they have free time.

The video was mainly about how important language is and why language is the greatest invention of human history. Language is the biggest reason why humanity has developed so much we couldn’t do any invention without language because civilization rests upon the existence of language. Also, Language is not merely a tool," he says. "It is our legacy, it's our way of conveying what it means to be human. I agree with these idea because languages make us different from animals it is our common heritage. If we talk about the author’s purpose “The author's purpose was the inform people about the importance of languages and his tone was informative and positive. An interesting thing that I have learned from this video is the author was also the creator of the Valyrian language in the TV series Game of Thrones. Moreover, there were some words from B2 level such as ‘’underlie’’ ‘’convey’’ and ‘’merely.’’ Also there are some words that I haven’t heard before are cluster, profound and poignant. Cluster means is a group of similar things that are close together, profound means very great; felt or experienced very strongly, poignant means having a strong effect on your feelings, especially in a way that makes you feel sad. I would suggest my friends watch this video in their spare time.

Buildings that blend nature and city/ Roman

Generally, the video is about a relation between architecture and community. The speaker, called “Jeanne Gang”, is an architect but she prefers called herself as a relationship builder. And then, she started the speech about the topic I mentioned above. She believed in that the architect is a person who design relationships between people actually because of the fact that the buildings are the places where people come together for all kinds of exchange. Besides people, the buildings have a relationship between nature, animals, insects, and even weather. Moreover, I have to say that I like the speaker’s tone. It was very inspiring and informative. Also, I think, her purpose is about creating a new way in architecture or any other jobs so the main purpose is communication lost already among modern world’s creatures. Therefore, I agree with the speaker, because of the facts I mentioned. Furthermore, if I have to say, I have seen many words taking my attention such as, nurturing, fireside, and tenfold. And for the end, I recommend this video to others in the class definitely, even if you are not an architect because of the main purpose, Communication. The world is a small place now and it is getting smaller day by day thanks to technological developments. Technology, internet etc. are in everywhere now, and yes they benefit our lives but after a point of development, the people started to do every innovation for an individualist-developed life, not being a community etc. and this situation was a beginning of disagreements between people.

This video was about visualizating of data in a nutshell. Visual data is better and easier than classic-old type of data. It offers better understanding to viewers. While expressing information with using visual data, it is possible to notice that different colours and shapes have different meanings. There can be different forms of it like map formation, line formation or square formation. Visual shapes makes knowledge more sense. Our eyes can notice the details unconsciously, that’s why using different form of visual data helps people to work in more effective way. Additionally, sometimes it can not be enough to look only one graphic to understand the information. Visual data provides to understand complex informations at the same time. Author tone was positive through visual data. He supports using visual data because he thinks it is an effective way to make regular the information. Actually I agree with the author because we are in technology era and now it is easier to reach information from everywhere. And there are lots of different information tools. To make them more regular and simply with using visual data can help us to understand better. Sometimes one graphic or information chart can not be enough to understand all information. And also from part to part the information can change. We should pay attention to different spots of information. There was an example in the video. The author mentioned about military powers of some countries. When we look at only amount of soldiers, the biggest power was China but about percent amount of soldiers it has changed. There were some words which are reveal, profit, climate, industury, vastly, flustrating, enormous, enhance, intensity, demand from B2 level and some words which I don’t know before such as spawn, (to make a series of things happen or start to) exist; (saturation, when an event or person is given so much attention by newspapers, television etc that everyone has heard about it;) ubiquitous,( seeming to be everywhere; debt, a sum of money that a person or organization owes.)

The video is generally about the tiny island getting swallowed by water. For the past 50 years the settlement was hight about 90 percentage. The factors which is ending the life in lush island, Firstly this is starting with the oil companies, the company has used the harmful things for the get oil ring is lead to deforestation on the island. In apart to, these things the canals water has changing in these bad years to salty. When the sea level is rising and water has change to the salty this factors has starter of the problems after this things in the island earthquake occurred, 50 years ago in this island the 300 houses was living but now just the 10 to 15 houses. In sum, the writer has informative speaking style and I am agree. I learned that in this video environmental problems is nearly most importance thing in our life, but when doesn't happen something to the us, we can't realize the seriousness.
LİVELİHOOD:the way you earn money in order to live
VANİSH:o disappear suddenly, especially in a way that cannot be easily explained
WİTNESS:someone who sees a crime or an accident and can describe what happened

The video I watched explains climate change and its effects on people and the environment. Stating that this problem is increasing in the world and that people do not care at all, scientists are trying to solve it. They are doing some experiments and researches. and they are doing these experiments with them in order to raise awareness of people. After the experiment, we see that people sacrifice many things to prevent this problem. The narrator spoke critically and he told this video to raise awareness of people on climate change. In this way, I am sure that people will be more conscious and cautious. The most interesting thing in this video was that after scientists did experiments with humans, people suddenly took precautions about everything and did things to solve the mistakes made and of course, I recommend the video to my friends.

In the past, there was no anesthesia so giving surgeries was even much harder than today. By the time anesthesia was not the problem anymore. The problem was how to make the same surgery with little incision because surgeons are saving lives but not necessarily quality of life. People are having a hard time recovering from a cut. With the help of robots, making surgeries with just one cut became feasible. Author's tone was encouraging and the purpose is to encourage people to make innovation.
