I am Gianluca Pulsoni, your instructor in Italian for this semester. 

I am 36 years old, bald, bearded, with a kind of big nose in a way. Also, I have glasses. 

I did other jobs in my life before coming here, such as running a publishing house and working for websites devoted to the Italian and the international tourist market. I am still writing as a freelance journalist. 

As for my passions, I am a movie geek! I am also into anime and manga a lot.

Due to family history, my relatives can no longer speak Italian, so I have wanted to learn the language for some time. I used to be fluent in Spanish (I have not spoken it much since I moved to Ithaca), so I am also interested to learn about the differences between the languages.
