She had to let the world know who Khalil really was.SHe says what she has to say whether it breaks her of not. She has to tell her and Khalil’s truth.

I like this  quote because saying speak your mind when you need to and don't let people get comfortable enough to say almost anything to you.

I like this because it's saying don't think for yourself and don't let anyone else think for you.

I like this quote because she is saying you can be brave and afraid at the same time you just have to be able to fight through the fear.

The characters that I found interesting was Khalil. Khalil was interesting because everyone thought he was a thug but in actuality that wasn’t the case. Khalil was misunderstood. Khalil died because of his skin color. This connects to the world as we know it now. There are people of color being killed by cops because of their skin color.
