1. A person's distinctive way of thinking, unique to them, defines their personality. Also, temperament refers to the way that an individual handles a situation, and is a subset of personality. Researches suggest that a child's temperament begins at birth, and has a genetic and biological background, which will continue developing through life experience into their adulthood. As an educator, a good way to adapt a classroom to appeal to multiple personalities is to first recognize our own biases toward the students that inherently come along with time. After this, recognize that behavior is complex with the students and that being easily distractible is not always due to a simple lack of interest.

2. A person's sense of self refers to the way they perceive their personality. It consists of the internal questions that they ask themselves as they try to discover their identity. It consists of a person's thoughts, beliefs, judgments, and so much more. In this way, a student who has a poor sense of self is bound to have an inherently poor academic performance which makes them have a greater risk of acting out in class. This insecurity can manifest itself into a lot of negative emotions, and children tend to reflect this into their actions. As a teacher, a way to help children develop a healthy self-perception would be to use positive words of enforcement when correcting a mistake. Also, using a constructive criticism type of approach when addressing behavioral concerns can help the child to critically think about the consequences of their actions. Classroom activities where students have to write down positive things about themselves can also help with their self-efficacy.

3. A great way to promote socialization in the classroom is the implementation of group projects. They can be something simple, but even the action of working together in a group to create something can help students bond with each other and in the long run, can create some degree of friendship. It is also an option to have students write down something that they like about someone else, anyone in their life. Children and adolescents consistently tend to choose activities that their friends enjoy. Being aware of this fact and using it in teaching practice can benefit the children's socialization with each other as well.

4. "Prosocial behavior" refers to behavior aimed at benefiting others. Internal behaviors consist of things such as honesty and fairness. Together, prosocial behaviors and internal behaviors make up morality. In K-2, a child has an emerging awareness that actions that cause harm to others are wrong. Then, this advances to understanding cooperation and compromising as concepts in grades 3-5. In later grades such as 9-12, students tend to recognize the reasoning for certain rules and regulations to be in place at school and that they serve a conventional purpose.

A great way to implement the benefits of internal and prosocial behaviors in the classroom is by using a concept called induction. This refers to the action of asking a student to reflect, specifically if they completed an action that caused a degree of harm or distress to another individual. This is especially important to facilitate a reconciliation of conflict which can aid in the development of the student's overall morality.
