         <description><![CDATA[<div>Do drink water - don't drink; pop, alcohol, citrus, dairy or really cold drinks.<br>Do eat honey, sugar lozenges, steam, certain herbal teas - don't eat dairy, fruit or spicy foods.&nbsp;<br>Do balance out how much you use your voice - Don't talk loudly or consistently throughout the day.&nbsp;<br>Do Rest your voice if your throat feels tired, dry or sore - Don't cough or clear your throat as it can contribute to vocal cord injury.<br>Do sing only in a comfortable pitch and loudness range for your voice - Don't sing in positions that can cause tension in your neck and head<br>Do keep your jaw open and relaxed - Don't clench your teeth or tense the jaw when you speak or sing.<br>Do speak at a normal pitch for your voice - Don't whisper as it can strain and cause tension in your voice box.&nbsp;<br>Do talk normally - Don't squeeze or push your voice out in a tense or hard way.<br>Do pause at natural speaking boundaries to replace your breath before continuing - Dont try to speak beyond a breath cycle, or squeeze out the last few words from your remaining breath.<br>Do take regular sips of water throughout the day - Dont expose your voice to dusty, polluted and dry environments.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Acute laryngitis</strong><br>Acute laryngitis is the most common cause of hoarseness and voice loss that starts suddenly. Most cases of acute laryngitis are caused by a viral infection that leads to swelling of the vocal cords. When the vocal cords swell, they vibrate differently, leading to hoarseness.<br><strong><br>LARYNGOPHARYNGEAL REFLUX DISEASE</strong><br>Reflux of stomach juice into the throat can cause a variety of symptoms in the esophagus as well as in the throat. Hoarseness, swallowing problems, a lump in the throat sensation, or throat pain are common symptoms of stomach acid irritation of the throat.<br><strong><br>BENIGN VOCAL CORD LESIONS</strong><br>Benign non-cancerous growths on the vocal cords are most often caused by voice misuse or overuse, which causes trauma to the vocal cords.
