The Mycenaean culture was mainly proven on history was engaging on the activities that revolves in war and conflict due to the rocky environment which made the society in a challenging situation.
 

The Greek early Bronze Age started around 2800 BC. The Bronze Age is divided into periods such as Helladic I,II. The information lasted till today which forms architecture, lifestyle and etc

-The final collapse of the Mycenaean civilization around 1100 BCE marked the end of the Aegean Bronze Age.

Ancient Greek art helped accentuate the significance and achievements of people. Albeit most of Greek art was meant to honor the gods, those very gods were created in the image of humans.

 

Most artwork created was sponsored by the government and intended for public display. Hence, art were a massive source of pride for citizens and could be find in almost any parts of the city.

 

Early Greek statues called kouros were stiff and stood up straight. Greek statuary gradually adopted a much more natural and calm pose with hips thrust to one side, knees, and arms slightly bent, and head turned to a side.

 

There were also other sculptures that depicted human action too, especially athletics. A fine example is Myron’s Discus Thrower and another popular example is a sculpture of Artemis, the huntress.

 

Venus de Milo was among the most famous Greek statues, which was created in the second century B.C.E. The sculpture is unknown, but there were many art historians who believe Praxiteles to have created this piece. 

 

Greek was first written in Mycenae with a script known as Linear B. (It was used between roughly about 1500 and 1200 B.C. This variety of Greek was then became familiar as Mycenaean. On another script known as the Cypriot syllabary, it was used to write the local variety of Greek between 1200 to 300 B.C.

-Initially, it was written horizontal lines either from right to left or switching from right to left and left to right (boustrophedon). It was then around 500 B.C. where the direction of writing changed to horizontal lines running from left to right

- Diacritics represents stress while breathings were added to the alphabet in roughly 200 B.C. The diacritics representing breathings were not used widely

 Zeus was worshipped at a number of caves in Crete at Knossos, Ida and Palaikastro.

Odysseus cause the death of Palamedes because he never forgave Palamedes for sending him to the Trojan War. When the Palamedes advices the Greek to return home, Odysseus wrote a fake letter which is purportedly from Priam, the king of Troy. Then, he put the letter in Palamedes’s tank. The letter was found by Greek and accused Palamedes of being a traitor. Palamedes was stoned to death by Odysseus and Diomedes.

He was known as the greatest warrior of Troy. He was the leader of the Trojan army during the Trojan War. 

The last fight that Hector gave was against Achilles. After a fierce duel between the two heroes, prince Hector died. Achilles, enraged that Hector had killed his friend Patroclus, then dragged Hector's body with his chariot, outside the Trojan gates for twelve days, before he finally accepted to give it to the Trojans, so they could bury him properly.

Timeline-

- The strigils were used during the early ages of Greek history. The oil was applied after bathing and cannot be removed by that tool. Followed by the 6th century strigils can be found on vases, by the fourth it however became in the part of artwork and statues.

- Later during the 13th century BC, Mycenaean warfare went into a major changes both in weapons and plans. The other instrument were more uniform, systematic, lighter and also smaller. Everything changes, except the spear as it was the main weapon among Mycenaean warriors
