Japan Invades China

Japan took notice of the turmoil in China and used that as an opportunity to grow the empire. They Invaded the Chinese province of Manchuria and gave it statehood in 1931. This led to the League of Nations demanding Japan to withdraw from China, in which the Japanese emperor decided to leave the league.
