I believe that one of the main causes of ww2 was the Versailles this treaty ended the war between Germany and the allied powers but this treaty was also unfair/unrealistic the treaty blamed the whole war on Germany leaving them to pay reparations for the damages done and the lives lost and Germany had to give up land to the allied powers this treaty created more tension than peace. because Germany was being treated unfairly someone had to step up that being Adolf Hitler who created more struggles for everyone so if the treaty was never signed Hitler wouldn't have had the chance to take power and cause ww2

The Treaty of Versailles was the main cause of WWII. It was completely unfair to the Germans who had to take full responsibility for the Great War. It is no surprise that Germany gained a leader with disgusting ideals. The Germans were in a position were latching on to any hope of a better life for themselves post-war was inevitable. This fed into Hitler's following and led to WWII. Proof of Versaille's involvement is quite literally the Treaty. Which clearly states how Germany will suffer the consequences of WWI.

The Allies had been victorious, but many of Europe's economies and infrastructures had been devastated, including those of the victors. France, along with the other victors, was in a desperate situation regarding its economy, security, and morale and understood that its position in 1918 was. The French Prime Minister Georges Clemenceau worked to gain French security via the Treaty of Versailles, and French security demands, such as reparations, coal payments, and a demilitarized Rhineland, took precedence at the Paris Peace Conference of 1919 1920, which designed the treaty.

I believe the most influential cause of WWII is the Treaty of Versailles. Rather than foster long-term peace and stability, the Versailles Treaty's goal was to punish Germany. This sparked movements that would lead directly into World War II. The National Socialist Party used widespread anger about Versailles with the economic collapse of the Great Depression to come to power in 1933. Six years later, the world would be at war once more, this time far more destructive and incorporating widespread genocide. The inability for Wilson's ideals to come to widespread fruition led to further devolving situations in Eastern Europe and Asia also allowed for Soviet and Japanese expansionism.

I think that the great depression led to WWII because it cause Germany to lose money from WWI so then European countries had to rely on America which then America went into debt and cause their economy to crash in 1929. The great depression had changed the way that the government had saw production and distribution. Adolf Hitler had "set the stage" for WWII because the people wanted military, land and resources and Hitler could give it to them. Hitler could also bring Germany power and bring them out of the great depression. The great depression may have caused the war because people were trying to get land and resources after loosing them in the treaty of Versailles and loosing money in the great depression.
