    • Slow Graffiti is a shot-for-shot remake of ‘The Perfect Human’, the 1967 film by Danish filmmaker Jørgen Leth.
    • The fact Da Conte remade the film is hauntological in itself - the film refers back to this blueprint for perfect living from 50 years prior. But, the (already broken)  illusion was impossible to recreate. The commodification of perfect living feels mechanical and monstrous instead. 
    • In Slow Graffiti (Alex Da Corte, 2017), the artist updates the 1967 Danish film The Perfect Human demonstrating how little the objects around us contribute towards a fulfilled life.
