Emperor (just for show)<br>2.  Military Commander (actually in control)<br>3.  The Daimyo (landholding samurai) <br>4. Samurai Warriors<br>5. Peasants and Artisans<br>6. Merchants (slowly became more powerful with the economy) </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>In 1549 Christian missionaries came to Japan hoping thy could convert the Japanese. The Japanese let them in because they liked the Europeans from trading with them, but the Emperor didn't start to like how they were changing the Japanese culture. Christian missionary came and went throughout Japan for the next 2 decades until a rebellion came and christians were killed or driven out of Japan.  </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>After 200 years Japan finally opened its door back up to the world. They had traded with China, the Dutch, Portugal, and the Spanish, even though Portugal and the Spanish were banned at the end. Nagasaki is known for being one of the only ports open during Japans isolationism. They also have many volcanoes and historic buildings. </div>]]></description>
