Word of Mouse was a good book. The book was about a mouse who escaped a lab with his family but all of them are caught but him. It was a scary world out there said Isaiah. D-Day was a good book. It had a lot of information. The booked talked about all the different parts of D-Day like the airborne division and the the different beaches the allies attacked. It talked about people who were in D-Day. One person was a cameraman. He was coming in from the ocean. He said he caught a lot of different pictures. Also there was a person who jumped out of a plane. He was to join up with his group but he landed in a place were Germans flooded the area. One of the last things the book talked about was about how dangerous the beaches were. The most deadliest beaches was Omaha Beach. In the book Dog Man Lord of the Fleas, Petey changes from being bad for being good for a while. Petey keeps saying Little Petey is his clone but by at the end of the book Petey really cares for Little Petey. Dog Man on the other side is trying to stop the Fleas. The Fleas are a group of 3. They have a big robot dinosaur. The robot dinosaur has a laser that comes out of his mouth. By the end of the book, Dog Man defeats the Fleas. Before they could get the scrolls, they had to defeat an old enemy. He was the defender. At the end of the book they get the scrolls. Then a teacher named Mrs. Case told him he had to join a club, activities, or to make his own club. He decided to make his own book club. He just needed one more person. He goes around asking if people want to join. He finally finds a girl named Nina. At first it is just Alce and Nina in the club. Then another girl joins. Her name is Lily. Later in the book more and more kids start joining the club. By the end of the book, Alec has to put on a presentation in front of kids and their parents. In his presentation, he showed all the different kind of books that his club read in their lifetime. Everyone liked the presentation. Amulet Escape From Lucien by Kazu Kibuishi is a good book. In the book, Navin and his sister, Emily (who is a stone keeper) travel to city to look at a place which have been taken over by shadows. Navin tries to fight the shadows with 3 of his friends. But at one point, one of Navin's friend, named Robert gets captured by the Shadows. The Shadows take over his mind and makes Robert attack his friends. A little while later, Navin and his two friends get cornered by Shadows. At the last second, they were saved by someone they did not know. His name is Riva. Riva shows them the secret underground city where Navin meets some old friends. At the same time, Emily is going to try to defeat the "Voice." But she doesn't succeed because he told her to leave or die. When Emily gets back from trying to defeat the Voice, Trellis, the prince of the elf nation (a friend of Emily's) saves his people from the ship they were on. At the end of the book, Navin has to meet up with Emily at a place named Volcor. In the book Amulet FIRELIGHT by Kazu Kibuishi, Navin and his friend from the resistance just barely escape some bad people and get to meet the new resistance. Navin also gets to go to space. Emily sees her memories but then her amulet takes control over her. The amulet makes her turn into a firebird, which makes her turn bad. Finally the elf that tried to kill Emily and Navin in book 3 helps them out with finding something that helps them out. Story Thieves Pick The Plot by James Riley was a good book. In this book of Story Thieves we got to pick what happens to Owen in the book. Also Owen even talks to the readers at some points of the book. I even made him punch himself in the face hard because he was getting a little mean. (I'm not lying this was part of the book). In the book, Owen first had to escape a time prison. The way the time prison works is when it is 12 o'clock at night the day resets. This means no one will ever die. In the time prison he meets this girl named Kara. Kara helps Owen find his friend Bethany. The only way out is if you find 3 numbers for a code to escape the prison. After they escape, they are being chased by the Countess. The Countess is someone who was in the time prison with Owen and Kara. The Countess escaped. Owen and Kara figure out how to beat the Countess but they run into Nobody who is holding Bethany. At the end Bethany gets split into 2 Bethany's a non-fictional and a fictional Bethany. And finally Owen gets thrown into another book. I would give this book a 4 1/2 star rating because the book took me so long to read and I never knew when the book would end. The book had a lot of action. George Washington's Socks by Elvira Woodruff there were 5 main characters. Their names were Matt Quentin, Hooter, Tony, And Katie. They were first just going to have a regular campout but when the leader, Matt, says lets take a hike. They were walking through the woods then found themselves at the edge of a river. All of a sudden Katie starts walking towards an abandoned boat and she climbs in and when Matt tries to catch her he feels something like a tractor beam pulling himself towards the boat. When he climbs into the boat he falls into a deep sleep when he wakes up he finds himself in 1776. In the book the perspective is from Matt's point of view. Matt makes friends along the way and finds some of his friends. The book MINECRAFT The Island by Max Brooks was a good book. In the book The Island, the main character is Steve. Steve washes up on shore. He does not know where he is and why he is there. He has to figure out how to survive. Steve has to make tools and weapons to protect himself from monsters like zombies, skeletons with bows and Creepers that explode. He makes animal friends like Moo. Moo is a cow. Steve´s first day on the Island he is in a three block deep hole hiding from zombies. He finally builds a house in the side of a mountain. He starts to figure out how to make tools and weapons to protect and help him. His big plan is to have light everywhere on the Island so monsters can´t spawn. The book La Linea by Ann Jaramillo is a good book. The social issue is immigration. This book is from Miguel's point of view. Miguel has to migrate illegally to the USA so he could be with his parents again. When he was on the bus to get to the border, he did not notice his little sister got on with him. So Elena had to stay with him and go find their parents. Miguel and his sister have to jump onto a train then cross over the desert and avoid the border police. This book shows us Migration in a whole different light. The Meltdown by Jeff Kinney was about how Greg spends his winter. Since Greg lives on a hill, he and everyone on the hill has a snowball fight in the winter. When they were not paying attention, the kids from the street below came up to the top of the hill and used their sleds on it. Greg and the other kids who live on the hill don´t like it when the kids from the bottom of the hill, use the hill. The other kids never let them come to the bottom of the street either. The two streets have a big snowball fight soon it becomes chaos and nobody knows whose team is whose. I would give this book a 5-star rating because the book is super funny.

His new friends write the school newspaper. His friends names are Jenny, Akilah, and Felipe. One time Jenny and Akilah got into a fight and were not friends anymore but Jensen got them to be friends again. Also in the book Jensen day dreams about adventures he would love to do. Dog Diaries by James Patterson was a funny book about a dog who was adopted by a good family but he is a troublemaker. His name is Junior and his owner named Rafe. Junior calls him Ruff.. One day when they go to the park Junior sees a raccoon then chases after it through the park. Junior made a big mess of the park. Once he had stopped, a women named Lona Stricker came up to Rafe and Junior. She said Junior would have to pass a behavior class or Junior would have to go back to Hills Village Dog Shelter. When Rafe and Junior do the test, they fail the test. They get a second chance at a dog show. They win the dog show so Junior doesn't have to go back to Hills village Dog shelter. Max is going to high school but one day two men in black suits carried her out of the classroom and bring her to a orphanage. The next day she was picked up by some people. Those people are part of a secret agency called Change Makers Institute (C.M.I.) The C.M.I. has brought 11 other kids to their secret base. All the kids are very intelligent. They have to pass test because whoever wins gets to work with C.M.I. I would give this book a 5 star rating because the book has action, funny, and interesting.

Callie has to deal with friendships. She makes 2 new friends. They are brothers to each other. One of the brothers is a nice and a little shy on trying out for the play. His name is Jesse. The other brother is a little crazy and is very good at singing. His name is Justin. I would give this book a 4 star rating because I think it should have talked about the play a little bit more.

They have to get through lots of different situations to get to the glitches and the Defender once and for all. I would give this book a 5 star rating because it had a lot of action and adventure in the book.

Auggie & Me Three Wonder Stories by R.J. Palacio is a book on three people Auggie knew. We get to see different perspectives on Auggie. The three people are Julian, Pluto, and Shingaling. Julian shows his life with Auggie when he is at school. Pluto talks about what type of relationship he had with Auggie before Wonder. Finally Shingaling, she helped Auggie with finding classroom’s and stuff like that. I really feel like they all felt bad for Auggie except for Julian. He bullied Auggie just because Auggie was different from the rest of them. I would give this book a 5-star rating because there is background knowledge of people in Wonder. The Adventures of Ulysses by Bernard Evslin was a book about a man named Ulysses and his crew. In the book Ulysses is trying to get back home from the Battle of Troy. He and his crew are almost home, when 2 crew men got greedy and open a bag Ulysses said not to open. Because in the bag there are east and west winds. Soon they are back to where they got the winds because the winds brought them back. Now he has to get back home by himself with his crew. Ulysses had to battle monsters, go to places no man has gone before and returned from, and finally just to survive on the ocean. During his journey, he loses all his men. When he finally gets home, he has to face other challenges. Battle For the Nether by Mark Cheverton is about a boy who is called Gameknight999, who is stuck in his favorite game, Minecraft. Everyone in Minecraft is counting on him because a ghast in the Nether named Malacoda, who is the king of the Nether is trying to destroy Minecraft. Gameknight999 is now trying to stop Malacoda’s army. Gameknight999 is trying to defeat Malacoda’s army with his army of NPCs, to save Minecraft. The book continues to the third book.
