This article relates to what we've been learning in class because they mention how they are being exploited and murdered which we have learned happens more often than anyone actually knows about. In this class we learned about the indegenous peoples' land being harvested for resources that often cause pollution which could cause water loss. They are killing people for defending the indigenous peoples land and their rights.

This article was good but I wish they used more current data instead of 2020-2015. I liked this article because they used percentages and they highlighted some important information such as over one-third of defenders killed were Indigenous. This article was pretty crazy to me because it really seems like something that should be easier to find.I only learned about the article or any problems with the indigenous people because of my teacher which I believe is a problem. These problems should be shown in multiple ways like the news or social media. This is a very serious problem and there is not enough recognition of what's happening.
