In order to meet up with Kaplan, Thornhill take a bus out to the middle of nowhere to talk to him.
He then almost gets hit by a plane.

    • Attempt #1 - Ducks to avoid the plane itself 
    • Attempt #2 - Hides in a corn field 
    • Attempt #3 - And finally he tries to stop a diesel truck from leaving him behind, but the plane runs into the back and explodes.

In order to save Eve, Thornhill....
     - Sneaks into Eve's house
      - Drops a note for Eve to see to notify her of the danger that she is in.
       - He then secretly talks to Eve in her room
      - Thornhill and Eve try to escape by car
      - Since their path becomes blocked, they run away and scale Mount Rushmore.

Clearly, the new equilibrium of this movie would be them living a happily ever after, now married, after all the dust has settled...
