First. The concept of Industrial Revolution 4.0 corresponds to a new way of organizing the means of production. It is intended to launch a large number of "smart factories" capable of greater adaptability to production needs and processes, as well as a more efficient allocation of resources, opening the way to a "Fourth Industrial Revolution". This concept was born in Germany, belongs to German industrial policies and tries to ensure that technologies such as Big Data, Cloud Computing or 3D printing, among others, are applied in companies, especially in small and medium-sized companies. According to a study conducted by Accenture in January 2015, this new industrial revolution could increase the world economy by $ 14.2 trillion in the next 15 years.

Second. The particular needs and conveniences of end consumers or clients can best be considered through a certain degree of customization or adaptation. For example, modifying some characteristics of the products that are going to be delivered. Therefore, it is possible to handle a large-scale production, with highly customized products according to particular needs

And third. In Industrial Revolution 4.0, people are still essential. On the one hand, they will be in charge of conceptualizing and designing the product, in addition to deciding how to produce it and propose the most appropriate option. As a final step, they will have to select the production model and implement it.

However, a minority does not share this thought, and neither do I. I believe that companies have been benefiting much more than people with these advances.
