         <description><![CDATA[<div>The government opens a new 110-bed field hospital at Quezon Institute in Quezon City on Tuesday to help accommodate the private and public hospitals with the increasing number of COVID-19 cases.<br><br>Department of Public Works and Highways Secretary Mark Villar says that these modular hospitals are constructed for critical care and can be used as an intensive care unit or ICU rooms.<br><br>Villar adds that these facilities can be transferred to other areas if they no longer need them.<br><br>He says the target was to bring the health-care utilization rate to lower than 60 percent.<br><br>The DPWH also plans to extend the modular hospitals by adding 88 more beds at the Lung Center of the Philippines that is also located in Quezon City.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The government opens a new 110-bed field hospital for COVID-19 patients in Quezon City on Tuesday to help accommodate the rise of coronavirus cases.<br><br>Department of Public Works and Highways Secretary Mark Villar states that these modular hospitals are for critical care and therefore usable as ICU rooms.<br><br>Villar also says that if the facilities are unused, they can serve for another purpose.<br><br>As of April 5, 70-percent of all hospital beds in Manila have been used, some patients are admitted to hospitals in nearby provinces due to lack of bed.<br><br>Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque announces that the government would open more facilities for the COVID-19 patients this week.<br><br>These will be at Subic Manila Times Colleges, which will have 300 beds; New Clark City, 165 beds; Eva Macapagal Terminal, 200 beds; and Orion Bataan Port Terminal, 100 beds.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Due to the overcrowding of private and public hospitals in Metro Manila, the government opens a new 110-bed field hospital for COVID patients at Quezon Institute (QI) in Quezon City on Tuesday.<br><br></div><div>According to The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), more medical facilities with as many as 176 beds are to be operational by May.<br><br></div><div>The DPWH also plans to add 81 more beds to extend the QI modular hospital.<br><br></div><div>&nbsp;DPWH Secretary Mark Villar says that these modular hospitals are for critical care and usable as intensive care unit or ICU rooms.<br><br></div><div>Villar adds that local governments in need of additional field hospitals can get in touch with the DPWH.<br><br></div>]]></description>
