I, for the first time, have done Ko’ihonua with words at Ka’ahele.

At site, we’ve started the garden area and all Mākua were all hands in on the first two days of gardening. Keiki were excited to use the spray bottles, eat one of the flowers on the plant (sage to eat), and dig into the dirt.

All Keiki have been interested in our ha’awina so far at site and I’m able to capture their moments through ki’i.

Highlight: Hui Alakaʻi for Virtual Kaʻahele

-speaking/learning much more olelo hawaii

Also, one of our keiki loved the making their own wana. He was so fascinated with it. The highlight was he couldn't remember its name and kept calling it his "virus" but would catch himself and ask his mom "What is it called again?".
