Topic: Revision of previous topics, preparing them for the test

Flow:

Will start the class with the bonding activity, and get them interested in the class and science in general.

After that we'll go chapter by chapter (1-4) and do an overview of the chapter, answer the questions in the textbook verbally.

And after this is done for a chapter I'll ask them to write 1 Q&A from the chapter, to judge their writing speed and understanding.

Hoping I'll be able to revise 2 or 3 chapters in this fashion.

Then I'll mention about the test next week, and give a brief idea about the pattern and how to prepare.

I have a small portable microscope and a pre-prepared slide, will show that to the kids, and have a short quiz on bacteria

Questions(15 mins) : revising Wh, H questions to make sure he does not confuse one question for another.

Translation(20 mins) : As he won't understand a lot of words so we need to focus on a certain words that are going to be repeatedly used. So we will read and translate from the paper itself.

Grammar Revision(30 mins) : Will revise identification of functions, Modal verbs, Sentence structure.

Long Question Revision(30 mins) : Will clarify on format and formation of report writing, essay writing, and letter writing.

Comprehension(25 mins) : Last sections will be based on solving the comprehensions and make sure he will be able to write the sentences properly.

2) I am going to teach him about genetics and how our characteristic traits are similar to our parents and relatives.

Learning objective - he should learn about genes and it's expression as dominant and recessive .

3) I will be taking an example of a child and demonstrate him that how his physical features and characteristic traits are similar to his parents and it is all because of the genes.

I will be further discussing about the father of genetic "Gregor Mendel" and his experiment with the pea plant. I will also give him an idea about punnet square.

4) we will play question games using punnet square and according to the problem given the player has to identify who was who.

17th which is just one day before Sci board exam.

We will try to discuss as much as possible Mcqs, True-false and Fill in the blanks as possible (as that part is of 24 marks and easy to score)

After that Diagrams are portion where they can score...Will try to revise labeling and description of that Diagrams.

For 3-5 marks Qs from past weeks we have enough content...thinking to provide priority order of them and we will mark must to do Qs. (Request them to write atleast 2 times all those Qs)

We will discuss 1 markers from Video only as that is time saving (I will write too all the Qs with ans(1marks)), Will request them to refer 2-3 times before going to exam and to have much more writing practice. For that will suggest them write 1 whole paper.

2) I will be teaching them the DIGESTIVE SYSTEM of human body. Students will understand the basic function of each organ in the digestive system.

Students will be able to describe the journey food takes through the body.

a)Introducing the digestive system: Unveil the digestive system chart. Explain that it's like a factory that breaks down food so our body can use it for energy.

d)Explain how the stomach acts like a muscular mixer, churning and squishing food with special juices.

Mehul is improving his reading and i will make him read more and give him some paragraph to remember related to his exams imp questions

As we have completed the syllabus, I am going to take exam of 2 chapters ( Motion and time , electric current and it's effect )

It will contain 10 mcqs and 5 three marks question and it will be of 1h. Then we will be discussing where they are facing difficulties in the chapter and while writing the answer.

Objective: prakash and jaydeep i am going to continue the sums of multiplication as we have completed the introduction and covered the understanding of multiplication and did some questions in last class… for lucky we would do three dight substraction and as he was not much confident in doing somes in last class so will take one more class to complete it.

flow: So as always will start with a little talk and revision of substraction and addition to make sure they remember the concepts and start with the worksheet of multiplication and substraction for prakash, jaydeep and lucky respectively.. as they get excited seeing the worksheets.. and then reviewing…After reviewing the concept, i will spend a few minutes on individual practice and engage them with activities based on their understanding.
