After watching today’s videos and going through the powerpoint, I’ve realized that there are a lot more things I can do to increase my internet safety. Every couple months, I will now change my passwords and keep track of them using a table in my journal as opposed to allowing my browser to save these passwords for me. Furthermore, before I post anything online, I’ll remember to ask myself whether it is something I want to represent me in front of employers and peers. Another important thing to note during today’s lesson was the segment on cyber bullying. I have never cuber bullied anyone or been cyber bullied necessarily but after understanding the risks and increased suicide percentages, I am now more aware of how impactful my words and actions have on other people online. When I ever encounter an issue with cyber bullying from another person, I’ll implement CBR.
