The ghoul countermeasures law was the legal foundation for the CCG's prosecution of ghouls. The CCG's headquarters are in the 1st ward.
The ghouls commonly call the ghoul investigators (Doves)
Currently, the office of Chairman is vacant. The CCG's former Chairman was Tsuneyoshi Washu until his death. The Bureau Director title was held by his son, Yoshitoki Washu , however after his death, the position was given to Kichimura Washu. After the creation of Dragon, Kichimura has resigned from his position, leaving the spot of Bureau Director vacant.
The CCG was dissolved after the Dragon War and was replaced by the TSC.

Appearance
As a child, Kaneki had all the same features he has now as an adult with black hair. As a normal university student, Kaneki was a somewhat short and scrawny young man with little to no athletic background and preferred to read books. After the steel beam incident, Kaneki bears a scar from the transplant operation on the right side of his abdomen not far from his navel.^[15][16] In his free time, he wore casual clothes.
His casual outfit consists of a turquoise hoodie, light black pants, running shoes with a yellow toe and blue outlines reaching the middle of the black base of the soles.
At work, he wore the standard Anteiku waiter uniform, consisting of black trousers and a gray waistcoat over a white dress shirt and a black necktie (brown cravat in the anime). Because he could not yet properly control his single kakugan that manifests in his left eye, he wore a medical eye patch to cover it.
His ghoul mask resembles a leather gimp mask with an eye patch. It bears a lipless mouth with large, gnashing teeth, much like a restrained asylum monster. The bolts sticking out of his neck and the fact that he is an artificial ghoul invoke a Frankenstein-like theme.
After being tortured by Yamori, his appearance changed drastically. His hair became completely white, his nails were blackened, and he developed a more muscular physique. He began to favor monochrome clothing and wore a form-fitting black bodysuit with cutouts when going into battle.
In the years since adopting the identity of Haise Sasaki, his hair began to develop black streaks growing out from the crown. He wore the standard business attire of a ghoul investigator, favoring black dress shirts and pinstripe pants with a knee-length white trench coat. He also wears a pair of round eyeglasses when reading. After the events of the Auction Mopping-up Operation, his hair slowly began to revert back to its original color with almost no white remaining.
After the Tsukiyama Family Extermination Operation, his appearance changed drastically again. His hair had completely reverted to its original black color, and he started wearing his glasses at all times. He wore a black version of the Arima Squad uniform, pairing a black dress shirt with black slacks and a long, black trench coat. In contrast, he wore a pair of red gloves (black gloves in the anime) that disguised his right hand which was covered in reptilian scales. In his second battle with Arima, Sasaki wore a form-fitting black bodysuit underneath his uniform.
Upon regaining his identity as Ken Kaneki, his hair turned completely white again after having his limbs cut off repeatedly by Arima. Unable to heal properly from the incident, both of his arms are covered in reptile-like scales. As a result he continues to wear gloves to cover them with black turtleneck shirts with a pair of white pants. Around his neck, he keeps Touka's parents' ring on a chain, and after their marriage, the scar from her bite mark on his right shoulder. For a time, Kaneki wore a collared black coat over his new sleeveless battle suit with dark gloves reaching past his elbows.
After becoming immobilized inside Dragon, Kaneki took on the form of a beast big enough to wrap around skyscrapers, with many huge kakugan protruding from large, black limbs. Kaneki was uncontrollable in this state and kept expanding. He had already completely destroyed a large sector of the 23rd ward and presumably completely collapsed the 24th ward.
Upon being recovered from dragon by Touka Kirishima and the Q's squad, Kaneki lost much of his muscular mass, and is confirmed to have gained new unidentified organs after his transformation. His entire body from the neck down was covered in Kagune-like tissue, along with several black growths running down the front of his upper torso, and his hands possessed three misshapen fingers. His hair was lengthier and hung down below the chin. There appeared to be flesh patterns decorating his neck and lower eyelids. However, upon releasing his new Kagune, his body appears to have returned to normal, with his hands once again possessing five fingers and being without the previous scales.
Following the six-year timeskip at the end of :re, Kaneki trimmed his hair back to its original length, and the flesh patterns under his eyes have faded slightly. Along with this, he possesses a large scar running from under his left eye all the way down the left side of his face.

Appearance

Touka is a slender and attractive teenage girl with bob-length black hair (purple in the anime) that has long bangs that reach her chin covering the right side of her face and blue eyes. She appears to be a cute, normal girl that one would not suspect to be a ghoul. Her facial features and hairstyle bear a strong resemblance to her mother and her younger brother. She wears her waitress or high school uniform for work and school respectively, whereas her casual clothes are tomboyish streetwear.
Her waitress uniform is a white shirt rolled up to her elbows, a black vest, a red tie, and a black skirt down to her lower thighs. On top of that skirt, she also wears a brown skirt that reaches her upper thighs. She also wears tight red leggings.
As "Rabbit", she wears a long coat jacket, rabbit mask, and a blonde, or sometimes a pink, wig to conceal her identity. After the Aogiri arc, her hair reaches her shoulders, but her signature bangs remain the same. As a child, she wore dresses and bunny hair-clip on the left side of her bangs, and her hairstyle was much the same. However, her bangs at first were brushed to the side revealing her whole face.
After the timeskip, Touka became a beautiful woman with many characters including Kaneki have been left speechless by her attractive appearance. During a negotiation between the CCG and Goat, a ghoul investigator was stunned by Touka’s beauty. She has reverted back to her short bob cut. Her bangs are shorter, reaching her nose instead of her chin and considerably bouncier than her previous bob haircut. Touka switched to a more feminine style of clothing. She wears a white wide neck blouse with a black apron over the top for her waitress outfit. When Touka's moving around as a "ghoul," she wears a trench coat, pants, and boots.
After the Clown Siege, Touka dyed her hair back to its original black (purple in anime) color. 

Appearance

Yomo is a tall, well-built man with silver hair, and stubble. He has an immovable stone-like glare. He is normally in a long trenchcoat common with ghouls and wears a black shirt he has kept since his days in the 4th ward. His ghoul mask resembles a raven.

Appearance

Koma typically wears Anteiku's waiter uniform and is the only waiter that wears a bow tie. He has brown hair styled in a pompadour and a bulbous nose. As the Devil Ape, he wears a long white hooded coat with a pair of matching white pants. His ghoul mask is a snarling monkey face with marking on each of the eyes.

Irimi is a woman with long, dark hair with long, parted locks in the front. Irimi dresses fairly casually. At first glance, she seems to be a rather solemn and taciturn woman. After the timeskip she has her hair shorter due to cutting it.
In the past, Irimi's hair was considerably shorter.
Her ghoul mask resembles a Doberman's face.

Appearance

Hetare is a plump bird with pale, yellow feathers and grey wings. As is common with cockatiels, he has orange circles on his cheeks, and a wispy crest protruding from the top of his head. His most notable feature is the star mark on his left wing, hence Renji Yomo's alternate nickname for him.

Shirazu was a slender young man with light orange hair. He usually wore a menacing grin on his face and had sharp, jagged teeth. He also had six-helix piercings on his right ear, one piercing on his left ear, and wore a ring on the middle finger of his right hand. Unlike the other members of the Quinx Squad, he wore a dark jumpsuit instead of the standard CCG uniform and used a motorcycle to commute during missions. His hair was unusually long for a CCG officer and almost reached his shoulders with two strands of hair parted and tied up at the top of his head. Eventually, he completely buzzed his hair off in an act of repentance.

Urie is a slender young man of average height, with purple hair styled into an undercut and dark triangular eyes with unique diamond-shaped irises. Urie also has two distinct moles below his left eye. He usually wears his CCG uniform consisting of the formal suit , black shirt and tie, along with a white trench coat pulled over when a mission beckons. He is also seen wearing black gloves. Aside from this attire, Urie is often wearing earphones. Like most ghoul investigators, he occasionally carries a briefcase with him.

Saiko has two thick sections of hair worn in pigtails with uneven fringed bangs, possibly as a result of her laziness. Her kakugan is located in her left eye because of her status as a Quinx, and her face appears rather youthful; Saiko is a bit heavier than the average CCG agent, with notably thick and chubby legs. She is very short, especially for her age. She has light pale blue colored hair. Her right eye is a bright baby blue color while her left eye is bright red.
Six months after the Tsukiyama Family Extermination Operation, Saiko's hair is shorter.

Appearance

Aura is a tall young man with dark green hair and bangs that cover his eyes. He wears standard office attire at the office, and the standard Qs cloak during field work.

Appearance

Higemaru is a short young man with wavy, light pink colored hair, and seemingly has the same moles under his eyes as Urie, alongside wearing gloves much like his squad leader.

Hsiao is a dark-haired young woman of average height and athletic build. During operations, she wears a long coat, knee-high boots, and long clinging gloves covering the entirety of her arms before reaching her shoulders. Underneath is a tight form-fitting suit with a cutout revealing her lower back.

Amon is a very tall, handsome young man with black hair and teal eyes. His distinctive eyebrows are curved at the end. Due to his constant, vigorous training, he has an extremely athletic and muscular build.
Like most ghoul investigators, Amon usually wore a black suit with tie. If he left for an investigation, he additionally wore a white overcoat on top of his suit. He also wears a silver necklace with a cross.
Years later, he wears a cloak with a hood, and an outfit with a high collar underneath. He possesses a kakugan in his right eye. His right forearm and hand is made from a kagune, the hand itself deformed with only three fingers and a blade-like extension growing alongside the finger on the right side of his hand. After his right hand is destroyed in battle, it regenerates with four fingers, sans blade-like extension. One month after the Rushima operation, his right hand regenerates with five fingers.

Appearance

Suzuya is a young-looking man with an androgynous appearance, with pale skin and pure shoulder-length white hair. In his hair he wears red hairpins, which form the Roman numeral XIII (13), keeping back his bangs. He has dark red eyes with bags under them.
He self-stitches his own body, explaining it to be a form of body modification. A miniature set of red threads that appeared to be two x's are stitched on below his right eye. One below his bottom lip and a line of several stitching threads from his upper neck downward, and several more around his right arm and hand. His attire consisted of a white suit with sleeves rolled up to the elbows, left halfway buttoned and polka-dotted red suspenders that supported his black pants and a pair of red slippers. He frequently wore a black suit above all this, with rolled up sleeves.
In the Joker side story and at the start of Tokyo Ghoul:re, Suzuya's appearance changes drastically. His hair is now dyed black and reaches only chin-length. And, his stitches are in a different pattern. His attire consists of a black suit with black dress pant and red suspenders with yellow triangle pattern. He has a prosthetic leg as replacement for his leg that was maimed in the Owl Suppression Operation years ago.
Later on in Tokyo Ghoul:re, Suzuya's hair has now reached passed shoulder-length once more. He either keeps it tied in a bun above his head or in a ponytail, or without, as was shown in the promotion ceremony. He has also changed the stitch markings below his right eye, returning it to the original two x's. He has removed all stitch markings from below his right lip. He also changed the Roman numeral in his hair, now making it the Roman numeral XX (20), the "Judgement" tarot.

Appearance

Arima was a tall, well-built man with snow white hair and gray eyes. He always wore a pair of thin-framed glasses and a calm apathetic expression. He always dressed in a professional suit and tie, adding the pure white coat that acted as the S3 Squad uniform during operations.
During his youth, Arima had dark blue hair and was much shorter in height. While attending Seishin High School, he wore the standard school uniform. He carried a guitar case with him at all time to conceal his quinque, Yukimura 1/3, as opposed to the standard quinque case.

Hirako is of average height and his facial features have been described as "plain," or "bland." He usually has a blank expression on his face. Like all members of the CCG, he usually wore formal suits.

Yoshitoki was a middle-aged man with wavy black hair, high cheekbones, and faded goatee around his mouth and chin.
In his younger days, he resembled Furuta

Shinohara is a middle-aged, bulky man with a large nose and a wide chin. He has short black hair and a beard. He normally wears the standard CCG investigator dress code and a collar shirt during casual occasions.
After enduring a coma for several years, he became noticeably emaciated. His hair has also become grey.

Appearance

Kureo was a middle-aged man with sunken cheeks that reminded Amon of a dead person. He had long, stringy, white hair and was often seen with a huge grin on his face. He had a slim body and stooped shoulders, causing him to appear considerably shorter. He was often seen with one bulging eye, and one squinting eye.
He wore a white dress shirt and light dress pants, and black dress shoes. He wore a dark red necktie and a grey trench coat, adorned with shiny, silver accents. He was characteristically seen wearing white gloves. He was rarely seen without his briefcase.
In his younger days, Kureo's expression was normal and his hair was shorter.

Houji was a tall, dignified looking man with short, neatly combed black hair. He always dressed well and had a strong presence.

Hideyoshi is a young man of average height with short, messy, dirty blonde hair with dark roots and olive eyes. He tends to wear bright colored clothes that consist of a yellow varsity jacket and green shorts. Because of his love for music, he usually wears a pair of headphones around his neck.
After the Aogiri arc, he lets his hair grow out, and most of the time he wears a red and white cap, and he no longer wears headphones. He mostly wears a light-blue jacket over a white dress-shirt with a red collar that serves as his uniform. He also carries around a green bag, black pants and green shoes, aligned with yellow. 
During the Owl Suppression Operation he wears a military CCG uniform consisting of a black long-sleeved shirt, gray vest and black trousers.
Several years later, he continues to wear casual clothing and has cut his hair back into the short style he wore during college. When not wearing his Scarecrow costume, he opts to wear a scarf to conceal the lower half of his face and his throat. Underneath, heavy scarring covers his face from just above his upper lip and extending down to his left clavicle. The flesh has been almost completely stripped from his lower face, exposing his teeth and leaving very little to cover the bone structure. The Zygomaticus major muscle is missing, leaving a large hole in his left cheek. The damage continues down his throat, with a vocal prosthesis surgically implanted into his neck and several areas where the skin has been torn away. Across his left clavicle, there is exposed muscle tissue and evidence of the skin being stripped away.

As Scarecrow

When disguised as the ghoul Scarecrow, he pairs traditional Japanese attire with a straw hat and sandals. The robe consists of a vertical striped pattern on the left side and contrasting zigzag pattern on the right, tucked into a pair of loose hakama pants. Notably, he folds the shirt right over left, in the manner reserved for burial and therefore associated with restless spirits. He pairs this with a dark-colored hat and sandals, as well as a cloth mask. The mask has a henohenomoheji-face drawn on the front.

Tatara was a tall man with short white hair and red eyes. He hid his mouth with a red iron mask, and was seen wearing a white cloak most of the time. When he was first seen with Eto, he was wearing a large blue cloak.

Noro was an eerie giant of a ghoul with long black hair tied up in a ponytail. Noro wore a white mask featuring huge black lips, a huge mouth with equally massive teeth and tiny slits for nostrils. His fingernails were black, much like those of a pre-timeskip Kaneki. After the time skip, Noro's hair had grown as they were seen with a much thicker ponytail. Under his mask, Noro's decapitated head had no eyes or a nose and seemed to have been mummified. The reason for this has yet to be known.
As Noroi, he was a powerfully-built man with a serene expression. He wore a hooded robe similar to what he later wore as a member of Aogiri.

As Eto, she has a child-like appearance. Her entire body is wrapped in bandages, with a tattered maroon cloak with droopy ears attached to the hood. She also wears a floral scarf around her neck. Her right eye is a kakugan, while the other eye is a normal light beautiful green toned eye.
As Sen Takatsuki, she is a short, very attractive woman in her mid 20s. She typically wears a sleepy or curious expression and dresses in modest or sloppy fashion. Her long green hair is usually messy and uncombed or bundled on top of her head in a messy bun. However, even though she is typically unkempt, she is noted to be an incredible beauty with many admirers and greatly resembles her mother, Ukina, this resemblance is furthered when she cuts her hair to a short bob before she publicly announces she's a ghoul.
As the One-Eyed Owl, her single kakugan is in her right eye, and her initial kakuja created a mask with one hole on the right eye's position and three zigzag lines on the left, with two lines at the mouth's position slanted downwards, which greatly resembled her father, Yoshimura's kakuja mask. After 10 years of cannibalizing, presumably, her massive kakuja now forms a mask-like head with four horns and a single eye in the center of the mask with three markings on the left and right cheek and the forehead, and a large mouth. She is however, able to alter its appearance, spawning extra appendages, such as eyes, mouths, and limbs, if she wills it.

Kanou was an elderly, grey-haired man who wore the typical attire of a physician: white coat, white shirt, and black necktie. In :re, he also appears in a Hawaiian shirt and carries a fan. Kanou is often seen with two or three loose strands of hair falling over his forehead.

Ayato was a lean young man, with blue eyes and long, blue messy hair which swept down in front of his eyes. He bore a striking resemblance to his sister and had a rough-looking, rebellious image. He wore a hooded, long-sleeved black leather jacket, and black pants, along with knee-high black boots. Ayato also had a piercing on his left ear, and usually wore a ring on the pinky finger of his right hand.
In the anime, Ayato was mostly seen wearing a black mask with spires, as well as a black overcoat with a white fur collar.
After the timeskip, Ayato had grown noticeably taller, and was seen wearing shin-high black boots and a long, black coat over his clothes.
Ayato possessed multiple black masks. The first one had red eyes and a sharp-toothed grin, which he used during the Aogiri Arc. His most frequently-seen mask bore a rabbit design, earning him the moniker of "Black Rabbit." During the auction, he wore a very basic, vaguely conical mask which covered only the lower half of his face.

Appearance

Naki always appears wearing a white suit. The most distinguishing feature of Naki being his eyes, which have pitch-black bags due to crying for his deceased comrades. Initially, Naki's hairstyle was neatly sorted into three parts, with his left and right side brushed to their respective side and the middle section's hair pushed back, revealing his forehead. After the time skip, Naki's hairstyle is combed to one side, fully to the back, mimicking Yamori's. After the Goat Wipeout Operation, Naki is lacking his left arm.
In the manga, Naki is missing two small portions of his left ear. In Tokyo Ghoul √A, however, this was changed to two black earrings for an unknown reason. In the Tokyo Ghoul:re anime this was reversed and Naki's ear appeared as it did in the manga.
In Naki's younger days his hair was let down in a messy, rebellious fashion, his bangs covering his forehead. Naki also wore rather shabby clothing that had notable sewing marks on the chest pocket.

Miza is a rather unusual-looking woman, with a very distinct hairstyle. She is of short stature and wears her salmon-colored hair with a large section tied into a high top-knot and pieces framing either side of her face. She wears the long robes typical of a member of Aogiri. In the anime, her hair is light purple.

As a human, Takizawa had short brown hair with long parted bangs and brown eyes. Like most investigators, he wore professional attire while working and had a preference for blue clothing.
After the timeskip and his reappearance as a one-eyed ghoul, his physical appearance is drastically altered. He looks more monotone and frightening. His hair is now white and visibly unkempt, its length past his chin. His fingernails, toenails, and lips are now black in color. He appears more tired due to the dark circles underneath his eyebrow-less eyes, one of which is where his left kakugan manifests. Clad in all black, he dons loose-fitting robes with wide, elbow-length sleeves that have a white symbol on the hood. He wears pants fitted below the knees and has wraps around his feet exposing his toes. After his restoration to sanity he wears a modification of his Aogiri Tree robes as a trench coat, black with white stripes across the midsection and on both sides of the collar. The collar is also flipped up, partially covering the backside of his head.

In Tokyo Ghoul: Jack, Yamori was slimmer than he was in the Tokyo Ghoul manga and had black hair. He wore a black suit with a white shirt in the manga but a black shirt in the OVA.
Yamori was a very bulky man with slicked back blonde hair and sharp lizard eyes and was every bit as scary as he looked. Normally in an entirely white suit and black dress shirt, he resembled a typical gangster. His face closely resembled a gecko. His mask is a reference to Jason Voorhees, a hockey mask that echoed his violent temperament.

Uta is a tall, lanky man with black hair, styled into an undercut. Various tattoos cover his arms, and a sun tattoo covers his entire left pectoral region. At first glance, his kakugan is always activated, but in response to Haise Sasaki's inquiry, he claims that these are scleral tattoos, i.e., black ink was injected into his eyes.^[3] Uta typically wears a gray tank top underneath a black wrap sweater, along with harem pants and black sandals. He also wears a black necklace with round, white gems hanging from it. Kaneki describes his appearance as being a little scary. During the auction, he wore an open-collared zebra-striped dress shirt with matching pants, a light colored striped suit buttoned up, and a pair of white gloves. Despite being in the Clown group, he is yet to be seen wearing a clown mask of any kind.
As a teen, his hair color was much lighter, swept back, and at times kept down with a hairband. He did not have any of his tattoos during his younger days. His ghoul mask was an expressionless face with a stitching design similar to a voodoo doll, covering the eyes and the white surface. During the auction after the time skip, Uta wore a mask resembling a bird with a wide beak and four small holes on the side; during the Clown Siege, he was seen wearing a mask displaying a pattern of concentric ovals with a symbol resembling a reticle on it. His most recent mask covers only the upper half of his face and has a horizontal bar running through it, with a vertical one cutting through the right side and another vertical one extending upwards from the left side.
The tattoo on his neck is a Latin quote written in Greek letters which read, "I can live neither with you, nor without you."^[4]

Itori has long, peachy orange hair, parted down the center and worn loose. She's thin, and typically wears revealing clothes. In the anime, she wears a black corset dress with sheer neck and arms and a ruffled skirt and shoes. In her youth, she has chin-length hair and she often wore revealing clothing as she used this to distract enemies.
Her ghoul mask is a noseless carnival clown mask with a toothy grin. The mask has a heart with three dots as its right eye and a clover as its left eye with spades beside them and a protruding chin.

Appearance

Furuta was fairly tall and had dark, medium-length black hair that was parted on his right. A mole laid near the bottom right corner of his right eye. He wore a black overcoat on top of his suit with a bow tie, like Kijima did. He occasionally wore a trench coat with dark-colored gloves.^[9]
After the Clown Siege and as Bureau Director, he wore black robes with light-colored detailing.^[10] He gained a large scar on the left side of his face as a result of his brief encounter with Dragon, which is covered by his hair.
As the Clown Souta, he always hid his face by wearing his clown mask.

Nico has a very feminine, colorful taste for fashion and dresses very elaborately. He is a man with low-cut brown hair, a stubble beard on his cleft chin, and violet eyes. He wears colorful sunglasses usually fastened on his forehead and pink lipstick. He also wears a long-sleeve, pink v-neck blouse decorated with frills, along with a blue scarf, orange belt, red pants embroidered with roses, and heeled boots.
He has a clown mask.

Appearance

Roma had a slim build and a childlike demeanor, she frequently wore her red hair in a spiky bun with bangs framing her face.
While posing as a waitress in Anteiku she wore the standard uniform, but as a Clown she wore circus-themed clothes.
Roma's ghoul mask was a clown-themed mask that covered the upper half of her face. It resembled a cartoon depiction of a rabbit or some sort of rodent, with a round nose and protruding incisors. The mask sports two large circular drawn eyes, with a star around the left eye.

Tsukiyama is a tall, attractive, young man with a gentle look likened to his mother's.^[3] He considers himself fashionable and usually dresses in European attire, though his sense of style is questionable. He typically wears formal suits or semi-formal dress-shirts and long pants decorated with bold contrasting colors (usually red and purplish blue) and eccentric patterns such as stripes, flowers, or geometric shapes. His brightly blue hair was usually neatly combed, with a characteristic long fringe neatly swept towards the left. Upon his first appearance, Kaneki thought to himself that he looked like a model.
He possesses a mask shaped like a crescent moon as a reference to his name.
Two years later, his lengthy depression had significantly altered his physical appearance. As a result of his starvation, he became emaciated with visible sternum and sunken facial features. His kagune, when out of control, wrapped him up and gave him a monstrous appearance. Due to his poor health, he had unkempt hair and nails and wore a plain sleeping robe.

Rize appeared to be a slender girl with long purple hair, purple eyes, and an hourglass figure. As a ghoul blending into human society, she wore normal attire fit for a young woman, showing a bigger preference for dresses. After she had moved to the 20th ward, she was seen wearing a pair of red frame glasses (the frames being only at the lower half of the lens), even though she did not seem to have any eyesight problems. Her attire revealed some cleavage, possibly to seduce and allure males as her prey. Rize was very attractive and is aware of this fact, often manipulating it to her advantage.
After her transformation into Dragon, Rize had long white hair with decorative marks around a paled face near her eyelids and across her forehead.
In her younger days, she had shorter hair.

Hinami, being a young teenager, bears a close resemblance to her late mother. She had short, straight brown hair, brown eyes, and often wore a hairband decorated with two four-leaf clovers, a common motif for her.
She was identified as the "Daughter" ghoul when she was wearing her butterfly dress and coat. Therefore, she disguised herself while moving around the 20th ward.
After the time skip, Hinami has grown into a beautiful young woman, with her hair arranged into a bob cut with her fringe parted towards the right side of her face. She first appears in the opening montage wearing a long black hooded cloak. Later on, she wears a plain white shirt, along with a dark-colored long skirt. Aside from her casual clothes, she also wears the typical Aogiri robe while on missions.

A towering, stout man with short flushed hair, Banjou carries a strong heart. He had a distinctive reverse "の" for a beard, but after :re Chapter 65, he is shown to have a cross-shaped design instead.

Donato was an old ghoul, showing the physical signs of a long life with a wrinkled face. He had short cropped, light-colored hair and a neatly-trimmed beard, as well as thick, bushy eyebrows. In the past, he dressed in the typical clothing of a Catholic priest. As a prisoner, he wore simple prison scrubs — a long-sleeved shirt and pants, though he seemed to be barefoot. In the anime he appears to have icy pale blue eyes and pale skin. Donato's mask is a white round mask with a tiny golden crown on the center on the forehead - the eyes are round red circles with cross-like slits in the middle; the lips are slightly painted red and he can talk and eat through the mask's lips.

Maiko is a slender but voluptuous, fair-skinned woman with a feminine but classical taste for fashion. She has shoulder-length black hair, while as Madam A she wears a blonde wig that is tied up in two buns, though during the Auction Raid it is tied up in a single bun. In the Gourmet Arc, she is seen wearing a red body-fitting dress with a black fur collar, and black gloves that reached above her elbows. This outfit was accessorized with a pair of green circular-rimmed shades and a blue fan. During the Auction Raid she is seen retaining her shades but this time wearing a lavender dress with short sleeves and long dark purple gloves. She also wears thin ribbon-like accessory around her neck.

Appearance

Kanae was an attractive, androgynous youth who bore a great physical resemblance to her cousin Tsukiyama as well as her mother Emma. She had violet hair, cut short with long curling bangs on the right side and very thick eyebrows. She tended to wear the standard uniform worn by the servants of the Tsukiyama family, and had a preference for dress shirts and slacks when out of uniform. Kanae's mannerisms and style of clothing were intentionally masculine, completely disguising any indications of birth sex.
When out hunting, Kanae wore the black trench coat and veil worn by family servants. Her personal mask was a stylized white Domino mask that covered the upper half of her face. After being captured and tortured by Eto, Kanae's style changed significantly. She switched to wearing a massive black trench coat with a pair of rings at the shoulder, and heavy combat boots. Her mask has a massive, stitched on smile with bared teeth and multiple eyes scattered across the surface of the white mask. It heavily resembled the clothing and mask worn by Aogiri member Noro.

Torso was a lanky man with short hair, usually looking gaunt and underfed. He wore a dirty, long-sleeved shirt with buttons.

Appearance

Nutcracker was an attractive young woman, with long black hair, light colored eyes, and vertical pupils. She seemed to prefer clothing with lingerie elements, and had teeth that had been dyed black.

Amon is a very tall, handsome young man with black hair and teal eyes. His distinctive eyebrows are curved at the end. Due to his constant, vigorous training, he has an extremely athletic and muscular build.
Like most ghoul investigators, Amon usually wore a black suit with tie. If he left for an investigation, he additionally wore a white overcoat on top of his suit. He also wears a silver necklace with a cross.
Years later, he wears a cloak with a hood, and an outfit with a high collar underneath. He possesses a kakugan in his right eye. His right forearm and hand is made from a kagune, the hand itself deformed with only three fingers and a blade-like extension growing alongside the finger on the right side of his hand. After his right hand is destroyed in battle, it regenerates with four fingers, sans blade-like extension. One month after the Rushima operation, his right hand regenerates with five fingers.
