I love listening to different stories, even if we know they all went through the same camps, ghettos or others. What i liked about Sam's story is the amount of detail in the narration and the way is told, imagining those horrible scenarios in a very raw way. I would like to highlight the message at the ending of the story, the importance they give to Israel and knowing that now, after many years, we finally have a place to feel safe. Such an inspiring story. Give my greetings to Lynn and thank her for sharing this :)

I found this story very moving, it reflects one out of millions of stories of people who suffered the Shoa.

The most important message that it leaves us is that we must continue transmiting these stories, while it shows us the importance of the existence of the State of Israel, because it is the only Jewish State and it is where thousands of Shoa survivors found their home.

I would like to thank Lynn for sharing this story in such a detailed and interesting way.

The way Lynn told Sam's story was very touching. And, although there are instances where the story is narrated as a series of events full of luck, it is undeniable the amount of courage, resilience and humanity Sam had to have in order to survive and build a life afterwards. These stories need to be heard: the world has to know! For that reason, I also admire Lynn for taking the time to get to know him and others. Today, it is our mission to make these stories heard, and fight the same way they did to keep our Am Israel Jai.

Having said that, I would like to thank Lynn for preventing Sam's memory from being forgotten! Her words and the way she articulated every detail will always be kept in my mind.
