Growing up, we fought all the time but always made up before bedtime. She is the pinnacle of role models, being a star athlete, student, and musician. At the age of 9, Olivia started a band with her two best friends. Before they even got to high school, they were playing Lollapalooza and headlining iconic Chicago venues such as Doubledoor and Metro, earning the title of the youngest band to ever headline Metro Chicago. But with high school came other responsibilities than music, like more school work, extra curriculars, and for her, lacrosse. Growing up, I knew the musician better than I knew the athlete, and now as she is finishing up her time as a collegiate athlete, I have gotten to know that side of her much better. I think that both aspects of her life are ones that have shaped her character and although she may not pursue a career in either path, they will both stay with her for the rest of her life.
