What dry is trying to say about identity is that you can never lose who you are but you can be afraid of what people may think of you. The evidence I have for this is she stated in the video, " because at the end of the day you can never lose who you are but you can be afraid of what people think you are". When she said that she was basically saying you can be yourself and still be afraid of what other people think of you.
