Space Technology Discussion by Olivia Van Horn

Knowing that we measure these things using satellites, how might the ocean temperatures, plant growth, what's in our atmosphere, and rainfall affect us?

How does microgravity affect astronauts? What's done for their recovery? Would you travel to space knowing what happens to your body? Why/why not?

Things in our atmosphere could affect us by the pollution caused by us.Ocean temperatures could affect the fishes which could affect us because it is food.Plant growth could affect us cause if they die we wouldn’t have any food. The end.

1.) It will have more affects on plants then humans and animals, plants need mostly water to survive, if they get too much water they could die. But the affects on humans or any other kind of animal are way more different, unlike plants, we don't need much water, so basically it's going to harm/damage plants.
2.) Micro gravity affects astronauts by helping them float in space and not just fall somewhere endlessly, micro gravity helps them float so that they can fix/work on space crafts and objects like satellites and stuff. They recover by working out/exercising. No, i would not, because... i dont know

It would be ideal to get as much of these resources as possible from the moon itself, because shipping costs to the moon are unbelievable -- something on the order of 20,000per pound or it could be more . Just one gallon of water weighs about a whole lot, so it cost how much a rent to get it to the moon! At those rates, you want to carry as little as possible to the moon and manufacture as much as you can once you get there.Obtaining breathable air, in the form of oxygen, is fairly easy on the moon. The soil on the moon contains oxygen, which can be harvested using heat and electricity.
