A long time ago, I met a woman I didn't know until my parents introduced her to me. She was my godmother. She was from Spain and it was the first time I had seen her. She invited me to dinner, but I couldn´t arrive early. When I arrived, the dinner was over. Despite that, she gave me a gift, it was a beautiful cellphone.

I had that cellphone for only two hours because when I got back home, I dropped it, and it broke down. I got sad, because I knew I would never have another one, since I lived with my grandfather. My parents lived in Spain. I was normally brought up by my grandmother.

After that, I went to my bedroom and started finding out about how to fix my cellphone, but I couldn´t. I looked up a repair shop, but there wasn't one near my house. I was back and forth about what to do. I told my father, and he mentioned a shop near my house. I called my friend to set up a time to fix my cellphone, and then we carried out the repair together. I handed my cellphone to the store owner, but he gave it back to me, saying that my cellphone couldn't be fixed. The next day, I remembered I had a meeting with my friends, we were going clubbing. I got held up for too long, so I told them to put the meeting off until next weekend. I just put on my clothes, and I laughed.

At night, I put out my laptop on the table, but I got bored watching a movie because my laptop was worn out. Then, I went to look for my grandmother. She was in the kitchen, so I turned on the light, but she didn't put up with me. Anyway, I love her.

On Thursday, when my English class was over, I went home to do my homework. I found out that my computer had broken down. I tried to turn it on and off, but it didn’t work.

I looked for solutions on my phone and thought about giving up, but I decided to carry on. I looked up information online and tried to carry out some instructions, but nothing worked.

I called my friend Cristian, and he brought up that it might be the charger. I went to buy a new one, but traffic held me up. Since it was late, I decided to put off my homework.

Before bed, I remembered I had to give back a book. I put on my pajamas, put out the light, and resigned myself to putting up with another day without my computer.

In the morning, I saw that the battery had run out of power. I sighed, plugged in the charger, and waited… this time, it worked.

Yesterday, my alarm didn’t ring, so I realized the meeting was already over. I quickly took my laptop, but it suddenly stopped working. Frustrated, I decided to search for another device and find a solution online.

While looking, I found an old letter from my grandmother, who had raised me. She always told me to continue even when things were difficult. Inspired, I prepared my old computer and managed to join the meeting.

Later, my boss asked me to do an urgent task. While working, I remembered I had to return a book to my friend, so I left quickly. Unfortunately, I got stuck in traffic and had to delay our meeting.

At home, I decided to relax. I put on my favorite sweater and made tea, but suddenly, I didn’t have sugar. I had to accept the bitter taste.

Later that evening, I turned on the TV, but the remote control was too old. Sighing, I turned off the candles and went to bed, hoping for a better day.

Last week, my computer broke down, so I had to look for a technician to fix it. When I finally found one, he told me there was nothing he could do and that I would have to put up with the situation until I bought a new one.

Later, I went to the office, but my boss asked me to carry out an urgent task. I had to look sth. up online to fully understand what I had to do. Just when I was about to finish, I realized that I had run out of paper to print.

After that, I decided to go out with my friends. One of them was running late, so I had to catch up with them at the restaurant. While we were waiting for the food, we started talking about a concert, and my friend Julio told me his band had set up a new group. I got so excited that I almost spit out my drink.

When I got home, I was so tired that I barely had the energy to put on my pajamas before going to bed. Right before turning off the light, I remembered that I had to give back a book to my coworker.

This morning, my alarm clock broke down, so I quickly put on my jacket and ran out. On my way, I was held up in traffic, and when I arrived, I found out the meeting had been put off.

I tried to look for some files but couldn’t find them, so I looked up the info in an old report. While working, my computer wore out, and I had to set up a new one.

Later, my boss asked me to carry out a new task, but I had already found out he planned to transfer me. I didn’t like it, but I decided to put up with it.

At the end of the day, I gave back the files, turned off my computer, and accidentally put out a candle in the office. What a day! But at least, I didn’t give up.

Since I was a child, football was my passion. I dreamed of playing professionally, but the road was tough. When my hood también disbanded, it felt like was over. I broke down, unsure of what to do.

Little by little, i started playing in local tournaments. Every match brought me closer to my dream. I proudly put on my boots and gave me my best.

I'm still fighting. I won't let obstacles wear me out or let time run out of opportunities. Because in football, as in life, success belongs to those Who never stop trying.

When my relationship was over, everything broke down. I decided to bring it up with my best friend to catch up with her. Soon I found out that not everything was that bad. Although I wanted to give up, I kept looking for something that motivated me, like looking for psychology courses and looking up information about them. I started to set up a plan to study and carry on with my life. I carried out some changes, and although it was difficult, I gave back what my ex asked for. We met, but I didn't let myself be held up by the memories. I tried to put off going, but in the end, I put on my jacket and left. I saw a lit cigarette and put it out. I learned to put up with difficult situations. Later, I realized I had run out of money, but I turned on the music to relax. Finally, I saw that my shoes were completely worn out.

I ran back to the café, but when I got there, the phone was gone. I asked the employees, and one of them told me that someone had found it and taken it to the lost and found area.

I quickly went to ask, and after waiting a few minutes because the person in charge was running late, I finally got my phone back. What a relief! I felt so exhausted that I almost wanted to give up and go home, but my friends convinced me to go on with the night out.

In the end, we went somewhere else to relax, but I promised that next time, I would be more careful with my phone.

When school was over and graduation day arrived, I felt very sad. My heart practically broke down at the thought of missing my classmates and that nothing would ever be the same. My friends tried to bring me up, reminding me that we could still see each other, but the emptiness I felt was hard to fill.

Sometimes, we solve problems together or even put out doubts that come up in our classes, supporting each other along the way.

In the end, I learned that even though things change, we can always put up with the distance and find ways to keep important people close. It’s a lesson that stays with me every day as we create new memories together.

While I was reading, my brother came over and asked me to turn off the computer because he wanted to watch TV. I refused to turn it off, so we had an argument.

"Don't worry!" Juan said when I told him what had happened. "We'll get along!"

When we got to the park, we decided to sit on a bench and brought out a picnic lunch. While we were eating, we started talking about our plans for the future.

"What are you going to do after you finish college?" Juan asked me.

I realized I hadn't given it much thought, so I told him I didn't know. Juan suggested I look up information about different careers and we could talk about it later.

After lunch, we decided to take a walk in the park. We found a nice spot and decided to sit there for a while.

While we were sitting, we started talking about our childhood memories. Juan told me about his first day of school, and I told him about my first trip to the seaside.

"That's great!" Juan said. "I'd love to go to the seaside with you someday!"

I thought it was a great idea, so I said yes. After a while, we decided to head home.

When I got home, I realized my phone battery had died. Juan offered to let me use his phone to call my brother and tell him I had arrived safely.

I was so glad Juan helped me, and I thanked him for everything.

"No problem!" Juan told me. "That's what friends are for!"

I felt so grateful to have a friend like Juan, and I decided I would always be there for him, just as he had been for me.

Four years ago I found myself in a rather complex situation. I was robbed with a firearm and the robber pretended to know me so no one would get involved. It all happened this way: I was on a bus in the afternoon. Near San Vicente School, the robber got on the bus and began mistreating me and put up with me. My mind was telling me I wasn't going to put up with this treatment, but the man had a gun and was quite upset...
