         <title>homologous structures - comparative anatomy</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>They are basically similar structures that are found in like a number of different species. For example the pentadactyl limb which is a limb with five digits. This is found in humans with our hands and our feet ... but is also found in other animals such as dogs, cats, bats, birds, and even whales. </p><p><br></p><p>These limbs are different though like they aren't identical obviously. So even if they have the same root they like adapt to the environment and the needs of that specific animal. Examples would be bats use their pentadactyl limb for flying while dogs use it for running. </p><p><br></p><p><br></p>]]></description>
