This session was genuinely helpful for me in terms of gaining an idea about the animation part of the media which I never knew I had interest for. By filming these short clips, I learned the basic structure of the creation of animations and realised how much work is put in to the shortest animation. I think that the idea I put in my clips were not bad regarding the objects I had in my room. I tried to use the outside as well as the inside, that is why I filmed it next to the window. I turned on a lamp on the background thinking it would provide some warmness in to the atmosphere. I'm quite satisfied with the work I've done today. However, I do not think that the last seconds of my long clip were filmed as good and carefully as the beginning of the clip because doing the last part, I had very little time left. I could not settle the camera so the image is constantly shaking and I had to make up some ending that doesn't quite make sense. I tried to improvise at the end. So I think time management would be the part I would need to focus on next time.

During the whole workshop, I had quite a lot of trouble understanding what was told due to my lack of general knowledge about computers and technology. I encountered difficulties on doing the most basic tasks. However, I was very excited to put in work what I had planed in my mind. As a result, I managed to complete the task 2,5 hours after the seminar was over. Which is okay, because it was my first time trying to work with code. It was a totally new subject for me and I'm glad that I had this opportunity since nowadays, coding is gaining significance in all industries. At the end, I'm feeling good about the work I have accomplished and about the knowledge I received.

1-How do you think Trump handled the COVID-19 situation?
2-What would you do if you found the vaccine for the disease?
3-What are you most afraid of?

1- He was ridiculous at the beginning. He is not quite the representative of the U.S in whole and in terms of what they do. Trump is showing a side that doesn't care. In meaning, he doesn't care about it because the demographic doesn't care about it. Despite this, the U.S is handling the situation much better comparing to the U.K. The U.S enforces stricter rules : Temperature check and masks are musts and sitting indoor in cafes/restaurants is prohibited.

2- I would provide the vaccine to people who are at high risk first since they're priority, and later on give access on the vaccine for the rest. I would not demand to make any kind of profit and benefit from it.

3- At the beginning, I was scared of my parents getting infected because of their age. However now since I don't live with them, I'm more afraid of catching the virus not knowing I have it and passing it to other people.

I enjoyed this module since it was very interactive. I had the chance to listen to everyone's ideas which was very enriching because I got to hear many points that maybe would have never crossed my mind. As a result of , I saw that there is no limit in perspective and thinking. Reading and comparing a news article to a feature article was a concrete example for me in terms of realising the differences they possess that our tutor explained us. Also, the way our tutor talked in the videos was very clear so it made the information easy to digest. I learned about the term ''angle'' in journalism and how important it is to choose the correct one in creation of news. This workshop introduced me to the basics of Journalism and I can't wait to use these tips in the future even though I'm not planning to specialise in Journalism.

This session introduced me to one of the creative sides of the media. It was very enjoyable to compare different kinds of illustrations that our tutor demonstrated to us on the power-point. This later on helped me to have altered ideas for the illustration I was going to create. Using a platform ( PixlrE ) I had never used before was challenging. The first illustration I created was so bad that I didn't want to share it with the class. I tried to explain the whole story in that picture. I encountered difficulties understanding how to edit my picture, so my product came out as a mess. That is why by the time the workshop was over, I drew another illustration looking from another perspective, focusing on the aesthetic part rather than trying to explain the whole situation. I still think that I could have done better.

Now that I have some general knowledge about technical rules, it is much easier for me to decide the way I'm taking a photo. First, our tutors told us about some rules about photography by demonstrating different examples of photographs. Then, they asked everyone to take five pictures. I think my photos turned out to be okay. After taking the pictures everyone choose one picture and explained it to the class. It was very nice and interesting to see people's different aspects and ideas.

Derin used to sit behind me last year in class. She always made an effort to be the prettiest and most popular girl at school. When I say popular, you would probably think of someone who's liked by everyone. But in her case, she only acted nicely around people who's opinions about her mattered. Other than that, she was always mean and disrespectful. She used to sleep in class all day long. Teachers would try to wake her up but her aggressive reactions intimidated them. She would attack innocent students, make fun of them based on their physical appearance. I saw how satisfied it made her feel. The amusement of showing hatred to people who she considered weak. She felt powerful doing that thus I think she was the weak one.

This was the module I was the least motivated to attend. I thought creative writing was only about writing stories about fantasy. With this session I learned that creative writing contributes film since writing scripts is also included. Although I thought I wasn't creative enough for this session, the exercises we did in class widened my creativity. This is one of the reasons why I'm planning on choosing creative writing for the next term. I believe it will will broaden my creativity and help bring up my potential which will help in in the film industry later on in the future.

I did not want to attend the the session at the beginning because I don't really enjoy radio. However I am interested in editing, so once out tutor told us we are supposed to create a radio podcast and edit it on a special platform, I got excited. The tutors were extremely helpful and answered all questions even if the same question was asked several times before. But unfortunately I encountered some technical issues as usual. I tried to edit the podcast by putting together my voice and my friends voice several times but every time I was about to finish I think I pressed something wrong and the sound sounded bizarre. I putted the voices together after the session was over so I couldn't ask the tutors about it. I asked a few of my classmates about the issue but nobody knew the solution. At the end, I gave up and submitted the weird sounding version. I hope you will be able to access it. Overall, I can say that despite the small problems I encountered, It was enjoyable. I learned something new and I'm sure I'll use it somewhere in the future.
