1) I want to learn, understand, and implement some new teaching strategies in my classroom. I am always up for learning new ways to improve my teaching skills, especially since I am just starting.
 
 2) Find and try new ideas for classroom management. There are so many different ways to approach everything, and many different angles to help make connections with students. I value my relationships with my students the most, and I am eager to learn how to maintain, and strengthen all my relationships.

 What are you most looking forward to learning about in this course? I am looking forward to absorbing new information and ideas, and then using them in my classrooms. 
 
 What is your biggest concern about taking this course? I believe my biggest concern is that I may not finish assignments on time, or my assignments will not be as detailed, and structured as I want them to be, because I am crazy busy teaching in a 6th grade resource room right now, and I also am doing my clinical experience!

Sometimes I feel as if I really do not have time for real personal interests,  and my children's interests become MY personal interests. As of right now, I am watching my 15 year old son play varsity basketball at least twice a week, and sometimes 3 times a week. It has been a rough year of more losses than wins, but I still enjoy watching him play. Also, my 17 year-old daughter is "busy" with looking at prom dresses, ( I know it is super early) but I am a fashion lover, so I enjoy it!
As for me, and just me alone, I enjoy watching PBS (Tim O'Brien was interviewed last night and it was very interesting), watching documentaries, playing with my pets,  and reading.
