Hello, I'm Mariana M.Silva, I'll tell you a little about the video I recorded from my community. Nogales Sonora is a municipality in the north of the state of Sonora, we are a border city with the USA, Nogales is a city with a quite varied climate it is cold, hot, rainy just as in the winters we have snowfall, It is a very diverse city with a mixture of Mexican cultures and traditions as well as Americans being the border; The city has quite a few shopping areas, it has a large number of shops, markets and restaurants, Nogales is characterized by the maquiladora industry. Our community has a rich history and heritage with several historical and cultural sites to explore in the video I show some of our heritages such as the mono bichi and some very popular places in the city such as the art museum, the fire station, municipal palace, auditorium, the public library and what characterizes us as the border with the United States.

I am from Ciudad Juarez, I like my city since it is a place of various traditions and has a great variety of foods, such as one commonly known in the city are burritos made with flour tortillas, and the city is also considered as a frontier. which is on the border with El Paso Texas, it is also considered an industrial place due to the large number of maquilas and the large recruitment of jobs, something that also identifies the city is the X that is located on one side of our university.

Vibrant Culture: Ciudad Juárez is rich in culture, with festivals, arts events, and an active music scene that reflects the diversity of its population.

Gastronomy: The city offers a wide variety of typical dishes from the northern region of Mexico, as well as influences from Tex-Mex cuisine. Carne asada tacos and burritos are especially popular.

Architecture and history: Ciudad Juárez features beautiful historic buildings and colonial architecture, such as the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe and the Ciudad Juárez Historical Museum, which offer a fascinating look into the city's past.

Nearby Nature: The city is surrounded by stunning natural landscapes, such as the Chihuahuan Desert and the Sierra Madre Occidental mountains, which offer opportunities for outdoor activities such as hiking and exploration.

Welcoming Community: Despite the challenges it faces, Ciudad Juárez is known for its community spirit and the warmth of its people, making visitors feel welcome and appreciated.

The weather is so diverse in a day that you can wear a jacket in the morning and shorts in the afternoon.

There are also places like the mall, CAFFENIO, la granja, and recently they opened a new restaurant called "18," the best thing there is their prepared drinks.

In this video, this is what it is like for me to live in Ciudad Juárez, the lifestyle is one of extremely hard-working people, who get up every day to work in the industry, another great majority crosses to El Paso TX every day to work .

There is a lot of love for sports, in our case we have soccer with the team "Los Bravos", and baseball "Los Indios", our typical food is the burritos that we eat daily.

As for pets, dogs and cats are popular as companions in homes, with pet stores and veterinarians offering supplies and care for these animals.

The local markets, known as "tianguis", are one of the highlights of Nogales, offering a wide variety of fresh produce and crafts. From fruits and vegetables to leather goods and regional products, the markets reflect the rich local culture and are ideal places to experience the flavors and crafts of the region.

The family and quiet atmosphere of the city makes it an attractive place to raise children and enjoy outdoor activities, such as hiking and enjoying the entertainment centers we have.

Although it is not a very big city I have fun with my friends going to the movies in the mall or to climb a hill called La Pirinola, we took our dogs and we had a good time.
