As we grow up, we continue to measure and compare each other's components. Also, society has taught us that comparing ourselves to others and living in the competition will greatly help our development and the development of the country. Of course, I have also thought that I can develop myself to some extent through comparison and competition with others. However, watching this Ted Talk video, I was able to reflect on my life where the comparison with others was taken for granted. Through this video, I finally realized that life can be happy and more developed only when I focus solely on myself and make my own measurements. The most impressive part was, "If you focus only on yourself, luck or misfortune from day to day will actually be determined by your own decision." This means that when I focus on myself and love myself, I can decide for myself whether my day is lucky or not. Reading this part, I regretted so much why I decided on the good or bad of my day in other people's evaluations and eyes. From now on, I will try to solve life problems by focusing more on myself, loving myself, and living a self-reliant life like Dean Furness.

- Yes, we do. First of all, if garbage is not properly managed, it will harm the beautification of areas where everyone lives together. In addition, garbage management is an important public administration obligation because it can improve the hygiene level, health level, and happiness index of residents, and a country that is well-managed and clean can gain a high level of competitiveness. Moreover, if garbage is not properly managed, global warming is expected to become more serious due to environmental pollution, so we think this issue should be dealt with at a more national level.

There have been several problems with transportation devices recently, and municipalities and related companies seem to have an obligation to work together to solve the problem of managing transportation devices.

For example, there are many problems caused by the increase in the number of people using electric scooters such as G-cooters, and it seems that the city and related companies need to manage them thoroughly rather than just passing them on to citizens.

First of all, safety issues caused by increased traffic accidents on these electric scooters are emerging as the most important issue. To prevent this, safety prevention through helmets is essential, and companies will be able to supply helmets and attach anti-theft systems to helmets to prevent safety accidents and theft.

Secondly, since randomly collapsed electric scooters cause a lot of damage by making the surrounding environment dirty and causing traffic congestion, a policy to create and manage electric scooter stops thoroughly is needed. The need for stops is clear, but in reality, the installation and cost of many electric scooter stops are not easy, so it would be better to solve the problem by creating a small electric scooter stop next to the bus stop currently in use. We think it would be a good management plan to install these stops, strongly regulate electric scooters that are not parked at the stops, and frequently check batteries, helmets, and safety devices by companies.

Third, the license plate should be attached to the electric scooter and registered to make it more clear about the responsibility of the accident. It will also need to register its driver's licenses so that users of electric scooters can be identified. Registering a driver's license will make it unusable for inexperienced drivers, which will help prevent accidents and make it easier for regulators to manage accidents.

After all, all factors need to be considered in establishing regulations on the management of transport devices, including safety, environment, traffic congestion and liability for accidents. We believe that citizens, businesses, as well as cities and local governments will be able to solve the management problems of transportation devices when they all agree and comply with these regulations and management together.

My biggest mistake this semester was my hasty judgment and personality.

After mid-term reflection, I made a commitment to play a role as a leader in my discussion assignment. During the debate, I tried to help students who lacked English skills and to convey the professor's questions and information to them.

But I made a big mistake because of my hasty judgment during week 12 and 13 group discussions.

I was stuck in the idea that I had to get a full result in a fixed amount of time. So, as a leader of the group discussion, without accurately understanding the professor's assignments and questions, I provided the members with information against the professor's intention to ask questions and proceeded with the discussion.

In week 12, I did not properly communicate the task of using Free Word Cloud Maker to my team members, and in week 13, I made the mistake of discussing a topic that was slightly contrary to the professor's intention to ask questions.

Especially in week 13, we should have discussed how to manage emerging transportation devices like drones for delivery and driverless cars, but as a leader, I did not understand the intentions of the question and focused the topic more deeply on electric scooters such as G-Cooter. I regret this very much and I am sorry for the team members.

Fortunately, I used to search the padlets of the other group members after class and assignment, comparing our group's assignment contents with theirs.

If they and our group's assignment contents were different in focus, I read the professor's assignment questions again and I reviewed and revised our group's assignment contents. Through this habit, I often immediately grasped my mistakes. I think this habit was a good habit myself.

Moreover, through this habit, I solved the problem of not properly conveying information about Free word cloud maker as a leader in week 12. After the class in week 12, I immediately found my problem by comparing my group's padlets with other group's padlets, and fortunately, I solved the problem by providing modified information to my group members because I knew one of our members' contact information.

However, in the case of my mistake in week 13, it was difficult to solve the problem because I could not discuss with the group again, nor could I know their contact information. I regret myself so much, and I'm sorry for them.

Through these parts, what I realized as a learner was that as a leader or student, providing wrong information to the team members while hasty and unprepared could greatly damage them.

In particular, I realized that students like me, who dream of executing administration like civil servants in the future, need to think of accurate information delivery as a very important task.

In the past, Professor Kang In-ho said this. "The best civil servants are not civil servants who speed things up, but civil servants who provide accurate information to residents so that they do not come back to the same problem." I think Professor Kang In-ho's words point to the core of my big mistake this semester.

Taking advantage of these mistakes, I will try harder to become a better student, leader, and civil servant.

Personally, I think most of the things I learned this semester and the various methods used for assignments need to be reused next semester.

First of all, as for what I learned this semester, I think it is very positive that every semester the professor has students discuss the most problematic social phenomena in the current society.

Personally, last semester, I was impressed by the discussion on flood damage in summer, and this semester, discussions on electric scooter issues such as G-Cooter were very interesting.

While discussing these topics, I learned a lot about social phenomena such as environment, welfare, transportation, etc., and I was able to improve my skills in finding ways to cope with them. I hope the professor will prepare these contents of the class again next semester.

In addition to these useful topics, I like the various class and assignment methods presented by the professor, and I think they are very necessary for students. So, I'm going to describe a variety of methods that I think will need to be reused next semester.

First, writing essays on mid-term was very helpful to my writing skills. Of course, writing an essay in English is not easy, but while writing the essay, I could have time to think about various factors such as grammar, context, and composition of writing. Personally, after learning how to write an essay from the professor, once I write an essay myself, it doesn't feel much harder the next time I write.

Second, it is a method of writing and recording a script for a topic, either in groups or on my own. I have greatly improved my skills in summarizing and organizing my writing by writing my own scripts on a topic. Also, the task of recording these scripts in a fixed time was very helpful. Recording the script within a set time was not easy, so I needed to practice continuously, and I could also have a chance to check my own English pronunciation in the process. I think writing and recording scripts in person can give a deeper understanding of what I wrote, and improve my ability to revise and review my writing and pronunciation.

Third, I think it is useful to listen to Ted Talk and organize and present our opinions and thoughts. There are countless stories in Ted Talk that live in the world. The time to listen to various stories of famous people or people who overcame hardships and organize our thoughts was very helpful to me.

Fourth, it is a task method that uses padlets. Through the padlet, I was able to organize my assignments neatly, and I was able to have questions and answers about the assignments with my fellow students. In addition, I think it is an essential method for students to experience various things because it has various functions such as attaching pictures and recording.

Finally, it is time for the Reflection, which takes place in the middle of the semester and at the end of the term. I think this is the most important part. I was able to realize my strengths through Reflection time, and on the contrary, I was able to reflect on my shortcomings and review them.
In addition, it was an opportunity to not just pass by the assignments I had been doing, but to read them again and review them, to more accurately identify what I was good at, what I lacked, and what I needed to fix. I felt that this was particularly necessary for younger generations like me with a hot temper.

I hope that the professor will use these class contents and assignment methods again next semester. I think these teaching methods are methods that students cannot be experienced without professor Maria's class time. Also, it can be very confusing and difficult when doing the professor’s assignments, but if we overcome it and achieve it, I think the most memorable and useful things over time are the professor's class contents and methods.

I think students need to think positively about these points and have a habit of challenging and enjoying themselves rather than being afraid of new experiences and methods.

I think I deserve a grade above the middle. I see three main reasons for this, which are my sincerity, challenge as a leader, and attitude of reflection. From now on, I would like to write my explanation for these three reasons one by one.

First, I think my sincerity this semester was one of my big strong points. Sincerity may seem natural, but it is actually a very difficult element to maintain. Especially in the current chaotic Covid-19 situation, maintaining a diligent mentality is a very difficult task. So, I'm very proud that I've never been absent or late for classes in these circumstances, and I've attended all classes in good health and sincerity. Also, not only is my sincerity in attendance, but I also tried to maintain my sincerity in myself. As an example, I have made it a habit to personally record each week's class contents and assignments and save them in my computer file. Through this habit, I was able to review and revise my assignments from time to time and eventually submit more complete assignments to the professor. Through these processes, I was able to grow greatly, and I realized that living more faithfully than others by investing just a few more minutes could come as a huge difference in the future. I want to give a good score to myself for achieving this enlightenment while maintaining my sincerity.

Second, I volunteered to play a role as a leader in this semester's group discussions. At first, it was a huge challenge for me, but by the end of the semester, it became one of my strong points. In fact, I volunteered to play a role as a leader thanks to Reflection Time last semester. Reflecting on my discussion activities through Reflection Time, I thought I should play a role as the leader of the group discussion this semester. And this idea eventually became the driving force behind my growth. As a leader, I asked a number of questions to elicit the opinions and thoughts of my group members, constantly presented my opinions and thoughts on the topic, and was responsible for summarizing the opinions of the group. Also, I continued to encourage members to engage in aggressive, active discussions. Of course, despite these efforts, I have been very embarrassed by some of the members who are not actively involved in the discussions. Furthermore, I was usually in a position of seniority as well as a group leader, so I could feel that there were some students who thought that I would lead the discussions and solve the problems naturally. These points were sometimes very burdensome, but I thought overcoming these burdens and problems was also one of the challenges as a leader. As a result, after overcoming all of my activities and burdens as a leader, I was confident that my active attitude had greatly grown me as a leader and as a human being. As I said above, these experiences through challenges have now become a strong point for me, and I will try to become a person who can solve problems and situations by utilizing these experiences in the future.

Third, I have consistently reflected on my achievements throughout the semester and put great importance on Reflection time. And I think these factors are one of my great strengths. I have a very urgent personality, so I really need to check myself like this. As I said above, I have my own organized assignment files, so I have constantly reviewed and checked my achievements on a daily basis. Occasionally, I had time to access my fellow students' padlets and reflect on the shortcomings of my achievements, comparing their achievements with mine. Moreover, since I have volunteered to play a role as a group leader this semester, I have been reflecting on whether I have harmed the group members as a leader or ignored their opinions after the group discussion class. In addition to these efforts to reflect on myself, I considered the Mid-term Reflection provided by the professor very important. Through the Mid-term Reflection Time, I was able to realize my mistakes in the first half of the semester and organize what strengths to maximize and what weaknesses to overcome for the rest of the semester. Also, through these processes, I realized that reflection is a very important factor, and that continuous reflection can lead my future in a positive direction. In particular, I could learn that if I ran forward in a hurry, there would be mistakes, but only when I had time to reflect on my achievements, it would be an opportunity for further development. I want to give myself a big grade in that this semester was an opportunity for my attitude of reflection to become one of my strengths.

As a result, I was able to achieve a lot of growth and achievement on my own this semester thanks to these strengths and efforts. Of course, there were moments when I made mistakes, but I think the fact that I knew the importance of my strengths, continued to challenge, and strived to maximize them is the basis for me to get more than medium grades this semester. Listening to the professor's class for a year, I have always thought about how I can do better, and I can be proud that I have made many trivial efforts in addition to the above three reasons. There have been a lot of hard times, but I want to thank myself for overcoming everything and gaining so many strengths and thank Professor Maria for providing this opportunity.
