The agricultural revolution is also known as the most significant change in the lifestyle of Homo-Sapiens, this brought a new way of life with many advantages and challenges at the same time. But why does Homo Sapiens drastically changed their way of living if life as a forager accomplished with a harmonious world in terms of biology?

The Agricultural Revolution began with people started to eat more grains, with this they spread its growth. The transition to a sedentary lifestyle was slow, at the beginning human bands stayed on a place during 4 weeks, then they stayed there for 6 weeks and after a thousand of years later they decided to stay there forever.

Life as a forager looks hard from our point of view, however, living as a forager is not that bad. Farmers in the Agricultural Revolution have a stressful life. With permanent settlements, diseases, wars, and stress increased. With this we created big societies and, we continued with the idea presented some chapters ago, the ability of human to believe in something that does not exist, and with this, the author said that our collective imagination has reached massive scales, with this reaching the possibility of human rights being an imaginary thought within humans. However, it looks like all our systems always opress someone.

Answering to Yuval´s interrogation, I already know that Human rights are only in our imagination, but I strongly believe in them and I know that they work. Our society is not perfect, and we can improve a lot by interrogating the systems our ancestors created. Following the same idea, humans could actually improve its systems with new thoughts, and we can even create ingenious thoughts to make the world a better place.

The development of writing systems have played a crucial role in societies and changing the way humans process information. Writing, such as the Sumerian script and hieroglyphics, allowed for the storage and processing of information, leading to the development of cities, kingdoms, and empires. For example, writing systems allowed for the preservation of information related to administrative tasks, such as recording taxes, debts, property ownership, and other essential functions that can be still appreciated in the way modern societies work. This facilitated the organization and rapid growth of emerging cities.

ince we were little kids we were taught certain values and beliefs, mom used to explain what was right or incorrect, the boy's room was probably blue, and the girl's one pink Some years later, teachers would teach kids how to behave, inviting girls to play with dolls and boys with cars. The years continue passing by, and kids stop being kids and start questioning their surroundings. Teenagers make uncomfortable questions, dad explains why a man marrying another man is unnatural, and mom starts explaining the importance of marriage to her daughter. The way we think and the way we act is highly influenced by the place we were burned and the culture we were surrounded, a Mexican mom and a Chinese mom have different ideas of what if correct or incorrect. It is highly probable that if I were in Afghanistan at this exact moment, any of my female classmates would be in my same school, or the image of famous pop-stars such as the Kardashians or Taylor Swift would be totally unknown to us. This is an example of how Homo-Sapiens live under a system of imaginary beliefs that have passed through generation to generation as a result of cultures and religions.
