Writing and receiving letters became a lifeline for many soldiers. They looked forward to hearing news from their loved ones at home whilst they served their country on the front line.

Many soldiers also kept diaries and journals which helped them to record their experiences and feelings about war.

also The soldiers would keep the letters to read in the afternoon.i can have a container of where the all keep the letters.

The People described itself as “A Weekly Newspaper for all Classes”. It was produced on a Sunday and featured many human interest stories such as “portraits found on the battlefield” which provided images of loved ones found amongst the casualities. It contained regular articles on gardens and small holdings. “The Home Page” featured articles on clothing and fashion, concentrating on female interests. Divorce court stories and articles on “the turf” and the Music-hall also featured regularly. It included some photographs and a regular political cartoon, along with a strip of illustrations entitled “Various phases of the war as seen by Leading Cartoonists of other Lands”. These were images from Austria, Canada, America, France and Germany. The strip was excluded when the paper reduced it size from 16 pages to 13. Adverts filled the edges of the paper, ranging from soap to Bovril and Grapenuts. It also featured a regular “Reply to Readers Queries” page.

In the 1916 Ypress , There was a compony who prints out knows papers and properganda posters about ww1. They had the facilities and the and the material to do so.


 A commander who's been through the battles and scares through out the war. The commander lived in the cold muddy treches for nearly half a decade. He's feet was always frozen and his soldiers was always shivering. even the they was struggling because of all the diseases , the brutal injuries , the homesickness , and the dirty environment, he always inspired his troops to fight hard in the battle field and Winn like a man. 

He  Always had lots of stories to tell which he wrote down in the book that he made him self. He was always intrested in hearing other peoples war stories. He decided to go to the compony to make a journal starter kid for the soldiers in the war. This way soldiers can write all their experiences for everyone to listen.
