Imagine a world without money or any sort of currency. Instead of going to the shopping mall to get a piece of clothing that caught your eye just like you normally would, you would be exchanging a pair of shorts you do not wear anymore for a fancy shirt your neighbour had. With no money in the world, people would not be so greedy, there would be lesser crimes on the streets and overall, everybody would be much more joyful than compared to in present time.
The existence of money in this world makes people greedy and clouds their vision, causing them to make rash decisions with dire consequences. It does not matter who you are, where you come from or your background, everybody definitely has a strong desire for money. Why? It is simple. With money in your pocket, you can buy things that you have always been wanting to have, live like royalty or maybe even buy a gift for that special one. For example, money can make people turn on others. There was this one case that happened not too long ago where a multi-millionaire passed away, so all his money got inherited by his siblings. Due to their immense greed for money, the siblings in their eighties, in their twilight years, started sueing and bringing each other to court. This shows that money can even make siblings turn on each other.
I can assure you that if money and currency did not exist, almost all crime would cease. If you think about it, majority of crimes are actually committed due to human greed. People rob banks and shops to obtain money and things they want. Poor innocent women get their purses and hangbags nabbed while they are just minding their own business, walking on the streets. Some even go as far as to print out counterfeits and attempt to use those as a substitute for real note. In a way, money also endangers lives as some twisted people actually kidnap a relative or someone close to a wealthy individual and demand for a ransom is paid is a different story all together. Thus, a world without any money would most likely be a very peaceful and much safer one where people do not need to constantly be guarding for their belongings and safety.
Money can also lead to bribery which is pretty dangerous in some ways. Important official working for the government could receive bribery from spies or enemies of the government from other countries or even from insiders in the country itself. This could allow important and confidential information to slip past bribed guards and into the wrong hands, which would easily endanger the country's civilians. Bribery could also make a policeman close one eye for committed crimes as the criminal could just pay the said policeman and get away free of any criminal charges. Of course, this all depends on whether the person tempted to bribe has any integrity and is able to fight away his or her greed for riches and fight for justice instead.
Many people will claim that having a lot of money in your possession can allow you to buy all your hearts desires but I would like to rebut this claim with this well-known saying which is " Money cannot buy you happiness ". Money definitely cannot buy you things that give you true happiness and bliss such as the care of the family and the warmth of a lover. As you can see, money can only give you so little and there is in fact much more to experience in human life than just purchasing items. You do not need to live luxuriously or own designer clothing or branded cars to live happily. Unlike coins and notes, family and close ones are able to comfort you when you are down, care for you when you are sick or injured and provide you with the unique, heartwarming love that can only come from people whom you hold dear to your heart.
In conclusion, money is the root of all evil as human beings have a natural greed for all things shiny and that most do not have strong willpower to withstand the allure of what money has been known to bring people of all ages, backgrounds and walks of life.

Topic: Is money the root of all evil?
Stand: Yes
Essay: Scamming, stealing, cheating, blackmailing and kidnapping, the reasons for all these bad things to happen are because of money. Imagine a world without money, people will work hard to barter for what they need , greedy people would not rob the bank and scamming would not take place anymore. Is money the root of all evil?
Firstly, those people who are greedy and want to earn money fast without working hard for it, mah commit crimes such as stealing , kidnapping ,theft or blackmailing for money . It is not rare to see news reports that mention , ' a group of armed people robbing the bank ' or ' the number of scam calls is increasing and many unfortunate people had gotten their money scammed '. Why would someone want to end up in jail just for money?
Secondly , money encourages more and more illegal money lenders to surface . When they lend money to people , the interest rate will increase every week or month if they did not return the money . Some people will ended up being threatened to pay up what they owned or they will be forced to work of loansharks and do illegal things like , pouring red paint at other people doorsteps of their homes or else the loansharks will do something bad to their loved ones.

Have you ever wondered where all the medicine that you take comes from? How the medicine themselves worked like a wonder to cure you of your sickness, what they tested it on to ensure that it worked? Well, these medicines or vaccines are the result of animal experiments. This has led to a drastic drop in the population of certain animals. Therefore animal experiments should be banned from taking place or even happening at all.
Firstly, animal testings are cruel and inhumane. The animal test subjects are subjected to force feeding, forced inhalation, food and water deprivation, prolonged periods of physical restraint and are killed by carbon dioxide asphyxiation, neck breaking and many other more cruel & inhumane methods of torture and death.
Furthurmore, drugs that pass the animaltests are not necessarily safe. In the 1950's, the sleeping pill thalidomde caused over 10K babies to be born with severe deformities was tested on animals prior to its realease and was safe on the animals . This goes to prove that humans are unlike animals.
Besides, there are other methods of testing now that can replace animals such as vitro testing which is the testing of cells placed in a glass tube. This method of testing can use human cells & study the effecton humans and not animals.this will allow for more accurate effects and results

Topic : Should animal experiments be allowed?
Do you not love animals? Remember the recent cat murder in Yishun? How do you feel for the innocent cats under torture? The same goes for animal experiments. To benefit mankind, many animals are used for experiments. The animals would be tested with different variables, of which some can kill or even change the animals' behaviour. This puts animals under constant torture. The plight of the animal experimented were similar to the cats in Yishun. Therefore, I strongly oppose to the idea of allowing animal experiments as animals can feel the pain, just like humans and suffer from various side effects from the experiments and lose their lives after lots of suffering.
The harmful use of animals in experiments is not only cruel but also often ineffective. Many of the animals do not get the many diseases that we humans do. For example, heart disease, cancer, HIV and Parkinson's disease. Therefore the signs of these diseases are artificially induced in animals in laboratories to replicate the human disease, which can cause the animals to suffer. The results that heal animals might also not work the same for humans. Therefore, the animals' lives are being wasted, with a huge amount of suffering.
Animal testing is cruel and inhumane as well. According to Humane Society International, animals used in experiments are commonly subjected to force feeding, deprivation of food and water, forced inhalation and prolonged periods of physical restraint. The infliction of burns and other wounds on animals are used to study the healing process. As a result, animals suffer from incessant torture and pain, which is very cruel.

What would the world be like without friends? This irreplaceable subject, whom we spend our time with, to joke with and even confide in, bears immense significance in our lives. I will hence state my reasons as to why I agree that 'Friends who play together, stay together." to such a large extent. Having friends draws us closer with common interests, enabling us to have a good mental health and improve ourselves to become a better person.

First and foremost, 'Friendship' surfaces at that moment when one person says to another, "What! You too? I thought that no one but myself..." This illustrates a situation whereas two unsuspecting strangers find out that both of them have the same thought. Another scenario for instance, while introducing themselves, people may undoubtedly find another who is passionate about music, sports, arts, to name a few. These lead to both parties' tendency to be themselves as they slowly but surely build a foundation of trust between each other, the fundamental ingredient for a true friendship. For that reason above, that is my opinion on why friends with matching interests have higher likelihood to have a long-lasting relationship, as they would most likely find great fun doing activities they are passionate about.

Subsequently, in the absence of isolation, having a friend to be accompanied by helps a person to be emotionally secure, including the benefit of being psychologically optimistic. For instance, having friends to spur you on to give it your all during a competition boosts one's self-esteem greatly. Or pouring out your woes to a friend, who will console you with honest concern twinkling in their eyes. A friend to be a listening ear and a moral support forms a sense of ease for us. Thus, this is why I feel that friends can be depended on for the well-being of our minds.

Last but not least, friends can be counted on to strengthen one's social skills, such as having belief to be able to share one's differing viewpoints and ideas. This does apply to the working world, where young adults start to take on projects with people from diverse cultures and races. Talking to a friend not only boosts your speech skills, but also heightens your experience whilst conversing with people, understanding them ever more. The explanations above express why I think that improving one's skills with friends is, ergo, essential.

In contradiction to this statement, some will argue that friends would not stay alongside you for too long and will feel left behind by those they once recognized as 'Best Friends Forever'. However, that only comes from one's self experience, in failure of choosing to make friends with a trustworthy person. The approaches to find true friends are to either see through their facades, or be cautious when choosing someone to befriend and deepen your friendship with. As the saying goes, "Too many cooks spoil the broth", Similarly , having a lot of friends does not imply that all of them sincerely want your friendship. You will need to hand-pick only a few genuine friends, like when picking flowers, we will mostly pick those with a vibrant array of colors and a pleasant fragrance, not those with mundane scale of hues with no smell of fragrance at all.

To sum it all up, friends are like luminous stars in the night sky to light up a path for us to venture through together, our shoulder to cry on if we are ever down in the dumps and there to eradicate one's timid, wavering self to speak up. In the realm of the mortals, friendship is considered one of the rarest treasures. Elucidating my stand, I argue that true friendship should not be taken for granted, instead be highly cherished.

        ▬▬▬▬ The End ▬▬▬▬

Stand : NO
Have you ever thought of how it would feel being used in an experiment? Getting killed and dissected for data and resultes. No you wont , because you dont want to die. Animals also have feelings and their rights. Even when they are used , nobody respects them and just throw that away like its a fact that animals are to be used.Killing large amounts of a certain type of animal may lead to extinction of that species. Thus ,I do not agree on allowing human experiments.
Animals also have their own feelings and rights, we just feel differently from them. We may be able to tell that they are used, but animals may not be able to. I would not want to be part of an experiment, it would feel like a bird chained in a cage. Im sure they would not agree to be used as an object in experiments. We should consider their feelings from their perspective. Using them just for the results of the experiment is just like disregarding the fact that animals are also living organisms.
Animals also have to have credits. They are used to get results and data just for science yet people just throw them away to the back of their mind after getting the results. What about the animals killed? Atleast feel abit for them. I respect the poor animals who got killed in the process.Nobody understands how it feels ,nobody respects their sacrifice.
If a large amount of a certain type of animal are killed, it may lead to extinction of that species. Precious species and important types of animals may become extinct. Animals are important in our daily lives. Such as cows who give us milk. Animals also give us meat, which is a staple in our daily lives. Not everyone around is blessed with having meat. Thus, i do not agree with allowing animal experiments.
Even though many may say that animal experiments are helpful and can help save many lives ,by creating cures. However , not all experiments may work out. Many lives may be used, but not all experiments may give out results. Not everyone may like the experiments conducted.
`Many may think that experiments always succeed, data gets collects , everything goes well. However, this is not always the case. Failures may happen, nothing may be collected from the experiments. Not all cures created are workable, not all results are useful.
In conclusion, animal experiments harm animals and many lives are used without the animals realising it themselves. Don't you ever feel sad for the animals if yo were one of them? Do you want to be used iin the experiment. Thus, i don't agree with allowing animal experiments.

The experimentinb of helpless lifeforms, trying to find a cure, a way to help humanity. But the price of that would be the loss of innocent lives of animals which would eventually lead to the extinction of thr species. About 1.4 million animals die annually from animal experiments. This is due to the harsh and cruel way thr animals are being treated by the researchers.

Qns: Money is the root
of all problems. Do you agree?
Stand: Yes

"Money cannot buy happiness" I am sure most people have heard this saying multiple times. Many believe that in order to be sucessful and accomplished in life, they need to own the 5Cs: condominium, car, country club membership, credit card and children. However, will all of these really give you a sense of accompishment when you grow old? Money cannot solve all of life's problems. Having too much wealth can even result in more problems, such as being more susecptible to robberies and theft, tearing families apart and raising spoilt brats.

Recently, there have been many stories of rich celebrities or businessmen getting robbed because of their high status. This could potentially put not only themselves, but their family members at risk. Even if they keep their profile low, the expensive and branded goods they own and perhaps flaunt from time to time will still give themselves away. Money can make people into walking targets and these robbers and thieves can shoot them at point blank range. I am sure most people treasure their family's security more than their wealth. Unlike money, family cannot be earned back.

Have you seen the numerous news articles about sibilings bringing each other to court after their wealthy parents kick the bucket? Or what about the stories of their family members demanding for a lump sum of their winnings? Money can pay for branded goods and expensive cars but money definitely cannot mend a family's relationship back together. An example of this senario is the story of Urooj Khan who got poisoned with cyanide aftee striking the jackpot. As he died without a will, it

prompted his widowed wife to hire an attorney in order to let herself rceive a share of his winnings, business and house. So can money reallu solve all of life's problems?

Finally, children who are born with a silver spoon in their mouths end up growing up into pampered spoilt brats. For most parents, when their child demands for a toy, they will not agree to buy it, however most wealthy parents will buy anything in the world as long as their children want it. In most countries, parents think that it is a disgrace for their children to enter neighbourhood or public schools. These parents would then pay and arm and a leg just for their children to be enrolled into prestigious or private schools. This ends up making the children think that one, money can solve all problems and second, the fact that they think that their parents will always he there to help them even after they grow old, making the chilsrens over-rely on their parents.

On the other hand, many people believe that education is important and money can play a part in paying for school fees and tuition, especially for university education. However, students can sign up for scholarships and part or all of their school and tuition fees can be subsidised by the school or government. Students can also apply for loans and slowly pay the bank back when they start working. This can also allow people to learn how to get money the harder way, allowing them to understand and apply values like hardwork and delayed greatification.

In a nutshell, money is truely the root of all problems. There are so many other parts of life that are more important than money. Family, values and children should always be cherished more than money. As the saying goes, "You don't need to lead a rich life. Good friends and a loving family are worth their weight in gold.".

Qn: Parents should impose rules on how much time their children spend on the internet . Do you agree?

Watching videos on YouTube, reading news on certain websites and chatting with friends through social media are the activities that the teenagers will like to do. Due to the hidden dangers on the internet, some parents impose rules on their children on the time spent on the internet. I agree with the parents who impose rules as the children may be addicted to the internet. Spending too much time on internet may also cause myopia and it has both physical and emotional impact on children.

Firstly, children may be addicted to the information available on the internet if parents do not impose rules on them. Similar to experiencing withdrawal symptoms of drug and cigarettes, some children may feel uncomfortable without the internet and have the tendency to use them even when the are bonding with friends, hanging with family members. Some children can stay at home the whole day, stare at the screen every moment. If parents impose rules on their children about the time spend on internet, internet addiction can be prevented easily. For example, parents can allow their children to use the internet after lunch or dinner, after homework is done and after certain tasks are completed for one to two hours. Therefore, the time spent on internet is regulated for the children.

Secondly, staring at the screens for a long time will cause myopia to the user. Eighty percent of the children are wearing glasses today and the percentage is still increasing. This is a problem that everyone should be concerned. Children need to take care of their own eyes and parents have to control the amount of time their child spends on the internet. Human eyes will get tired after staring at the computer or phone screen for more than two consecutive hours and this will cause damage to the human eyes. Therefore, parents need to control the time their children spend on the internet.

Thirdly, Children who spent too much time on the internet have both physical and emotional effect on them. Some of the children may spend their sleeping time on the internet such as browsing Facebook, watching YouTube videos and reading the recent news. Due to the lack of sleep, children are not able to focus on their lessons in school and will not be able to cope with the studies in a good way. Some of the children will also use the internet while eating. This will damage human digestive system and causes many stomach diseases. Beside physical effect, there is also the emotional impact on children who are addicted to the internet. Due to the lack of sleep, children are not able to concentrate during lessons and do badly in their examinations. After receiving their results , they may feel depressed but it is too late for regrets. Hence, it is important for parents to impose rules on how much time their children spend on the internet.

Some say that children maybe unsatisfied when parents impose rules on them. The children will lose their freedom, they feel that they are controlled by the parents. Children of this age can discipline themselves. However, not every child is able to exercise good self-discipline. Due to the lack of self-discipline, children will spend any amount of time on the internet without stopping and they can even skip meals or sleeping time such as chatting with friends or playing games. If parents do not take actions with their children ,they will suffer form the awful results.

In conclusion, imposing rules on children can prevent them form being addicted, they suffer a lower risk of becoming myopia and can reduce the physical and emotional detriments they need to experience because of the excessive use of the internet. This is beneficial for all the children as they can achieve a better life style.

Qn: Should animal experiment be allowed.
Stand: Yes

Have you ever thought of a world without animals, animals like cow, lion , elephant or even the pets found at home. What will happen to the world when all animals go through experiments were killed after ? Will you still have meat every day for your meal! I agree that animal experiments should be allowed as it helps humans to have a better understanding of diseases and human health. Lots of treatment have been developed with the help of experiments involving animals. Animal research has contributed to 70 percent of physocology and medicine but humans and animals actually do not react the same way to treatments.

Firstly, animal experiments help humans to have a better understanding of diseases and human health. It allows humans to know more about a diesease and the possible causes . With the help of the information gathered from such experiments, humeams will be able to know the causes of the disease and will be able to find a cure or a prevention for it . For example, the citizens of the country has been infected by a disease. Doctors or scientist will let the animal to be infected by the disease and try to find the possible causes of the disease. This, animal experiments had great potential for humans to explore and make breakthrough cures for diseases that are once deemed incurable.

Secondly, lots of treatment have been developed with the help of experiments involving animals. Treatments found in the hospital or medicine provided by the clinic are created with the help of animal experiments. These treatments or medicine are developed because doctors let the animal to be infected by the disease for example and will then find a cure for it. Thus, most treatments and medicine were actually created with the help of the existence of animal experiments. Besides this, animal experiments have actually contributed up to 70 percent of physicology and medicine. Maybe the medicine you have taken was created with the help of animal experiments. Without it , most of the information get from the experiments will not even be found or invented till now. Thud animal experiments had actually played a great and important role to the advancement of physocology and medicine.

However, most people might think that humans and animals do not react the same way and hence, using animals to benefit humans is thus not the best comparison for medical development.
It may also be a fact that for most animals but not all. Animals like monkeys or gorillas actually behave like us, which lead to a conclusion that not all animals do not react the same way. This research information and findings are still reliable to a significant extent.

In conclusion, I agree that animal experiments should be allowed as they actually help humans to know more about the effects of diseases and human health, or invent new treatment and medicine to treat diseases. Therefore, people should allow animal experiments to be carried out to improve our lives.

Stand: No
Have you ever been in the shoes of an animal test subject when it is about to or being experimented on in the name of science? How would you feel: Excited, furious, sad, nervous, or even expecting to meet the "holy pigs" using their angel wings to fly and send you off into the afterlife? These are some emotions that animal test subjects have when they are involuntarily experimented on. Some experiments are treating them cruelly and are inhumane, a number of them may produce misleading data, and animal experiments are still performed even though there are less expensive alternatives. Therefore, animal experiments should be banned.
To start off, animal experiments are still performed even though there are less expensive alternatives that may produce more relevant results to aid us in researching on deadly bacteria and viruses and eventually defeating them to save humanity and the lives of mankind. Experiments like cultivating certain cell cultures and in-vitro testing are much safer to both animals and scientists as they do not harm them that much in terms of their wounds sustained during the experiments.
Besides being more costly and having inaccurate results, animal experiments treat animals cruelly and are inhumane. Testing protocols are often painful to the animal test subjects because some experiments require them to be deprived of food and wate, force-fed, physically restrained for long periods of time, inflicted with pain and wounds, or even purposely killed as part of the process. Animal conservation organisations may argue with the scientists as they are focused on getting accurate results while the organisations are emphasising on protecting and saving them. Linking to the previous argument, the animal test subjects may die in vain if the results taken are neither accurate nor relevant.
In addition, such experiments risk completing a misleading research. Some products and medicines, such as aspirin, can potentially harm animals although they are useful to us humans. This will cause the results to be inaccurate as stated above. This will not progress medical research and everything will return to square one just to correct the mistakes made in the findings, taking more time and delaying further possible reports and research to assist doctors and other related personnel to help humanity as a whole.
Some scientists may argue that animal experiments should not be stopped as most medical breakthroughs within the last century were from direct results of animal experimentation. Thus, they would want them to be allowed so as to continue contributing their years of research to find more solutions and remedies to eventually cure the whole of mankind, or even repay the favour to animals themselves, of deadly and fatal diseases. This can even be taken a step ahead to aim to find cures to negate the effects of illnesses that are currently incurable, like Acquired Immune-Deficiency Syndrome and all cancers for example. However, the stakes will be too high especially for the experiments having animals that have little genetic similarities to humans as they will most likely die for nothing.
In conclusion, animal experiments are cruel and inhumane to animals, and are still performed even though there are less costly alternatives that may produce more accurate results. Therefore, animal experiments should not be allowed.

Question:friends who play together stay together. Do you agree?
Imagine a world without friends. How lonely would it be? No one to eat with, no one to shop with. Alone. In the 21st century,
friends are crucial in maintaining a stand in society. However, with the world ever-expanding , are friends really who they seem to be? Friends getting separated , new friends get in the way and even betrayal are a common sight in society. I will now argue for the reasons why i disagree that ' friends who play together stay together'.

From PLSE to GCE 'O' level. Friends are bound to separate for different pursuits in life. Separation will definitely occur in the course of life. Losing something or someone precious
brings about grief and sadness. Being able to stand strong is what truly matters at the end of the day. Quit thinking of the past and move on.

Meeting new friends is a part Abd parcel of life. Your other friends would have already made new friends after the separation. New friends are sure to get in the way of friendship. Instead of feeling despondent, you should start making friends. Making friends is never an easy task. With the right mindset and attitude of being out-going and extroverted, making friends will be a breeze.

Betrayal is a common Sight, even in political affairs. Even for the leaders of the country, the members of parliament ,they face betrayal. What are we, as common people of the nation supposed to do? Countries falling apart due to betrayal are on the rise. The distrust and tension between friends might be due to betrayal towards each other. Some examples would be spreading a false rumour or exposing your most embarrassing moment to others. Not all friends are true friends. Choose wisely or regret your choice.

Some may argue that all friends are caring and supportive. Instances of friends encouraging and helping you through difficult times are common. Friends are the only pillar of support and strength. However, friends are not always there for you. Sometimes, trying situations like someone could be a leech in a group project and others abandoning you in times of crisis might happen. Be it in family matters or academic struggle, friends would not always be there to comfort and help you through . Instead , seek advice from family members or Teachers. They have been through More experiences in life and are more likely to give sound advice as compared to friends.

In conclusion, I strongly disagree that 'friends who stay together stay together'. Through our growing years, friends come and go. Even childhood friends will have to say their goodbyes one day. Friends who stay by us are minimal as new friends and betrayal will come into the picture. With distrust tension between friends, friendships are bound to crumble. Not all friends are kind and caring. Thus, be sure to choose your friends wisely.

The term 'evil' can be seen in a variety of perspectives by different critics with their own individual views about what they define as evil. One commonly known source of evil is wealth, which often goes by the quote that "Money is the root of all evil". However, this cannot be true. Although money is the source of many evil doings around the world, there are still many other factors to consider, such as one's thirst for power, anger or hatred, or even being an extremist in one's religion. Money alone is unable to substitute for all evil doings in this world.

The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, also frequently known as 'ISIS', is a group of radicals who perform inhumane deeds in the name of their 'religion'. ISIS has a goal of establishing a new Islamic caliphate across the Middle-East, and they are willing to start wars or even terrorize countries to accomplish their goal. Somewhat similar to the extremists, the hunger for power is another factor that could lead people into wrongdoing. In their aspirations to be successful, some people might go to all extends to get what they want and might legalize activities such as slavery or creating a mafia to overthrow the government.

Furthermore, anger or hatred towards someone or something might spark off some unpleasant events. There are many reasons why one might obtain these emotions, one of them being jealousy. If someone has feelings for a person of the opposite or same gender, whereas the other party does not feel the same way or that person, it could induce feelings in that person, thus encouraging them to perform obnoxious acts that could also result in the murder of the other party or their loved ones. Another possible reason is religion. An example of this occurrence is the recently elected president of the United States, whom is having issues with Mexican immigrants in America who are supposedly 'stealing their jobs'. Thus, Donald J. Trump intends to kick out all Mexicans out of America and build a wall to prevent them from entering the country illegally.

Some might say that money encourages theft, robbery and murder. Nonetheless, I have to disagree. Money is not what makes people do these things, but rather their desire and love for money. Some might see money as a symbol of power, hence breeding greed into these people, making them feel like there is a need for money. It is one's immoral ways that creates this greed, not money. This does not simply mean that all wealthy people feel this way. There are still generous and kind-hearted people who use their wealth wisely in ways such as donating to charity and supporting the needy. An excellent example is writer J.K. Rowling, who recently lost her status as a billionaire due to her generous donations to various charities. Thus, this shows that money is not at fault for the crimes that occur, and it can too spread good will around the world.

In a nutshell, money is technically impossible to be the cause of all evil in this world. 'All' from the quote 'Money is the root of all evil' is an absolute term, thus implying that there is nothing else in this world other than money which can cause evil. Yet, there are many other factors out there which can also breed evil in this world, thus deeming the quote 'Money is the root of all evil', false.

Do you agree?

Imagine a world without animal experiments, what would have happened to to our bodies? Would some of us have health problems that are caused by harmful chemicals in the products we use? Considering the effects that might cause harm to us, animal experiments should be allowed as the results can be used to produce effective treatment for both animals and humans, animals are similar to human beings in many ways and it ensures the safety of drugs used in a product.

Results obtained from the experiments can be used to create effective treatment for both humans and animals. It means that if an experiment is a success, medicine or products may be created using the results of the experiments to help treat both animals and humans.

Besides being used to create treatment for both humans and animals, animals are also appropriate research subjects because they are similar to human beings in many ways. Research has shown that chimpanzees share 99% of their DNA with humans, while mice are 98% genetically similar to humans. All mammals, including humans all have the same set of organs like a heart, kidney and lungs. Since animals and humans are so biologically similar, they are prone to the same illnesses including heart disease, cancer and diabetes. Hence, the treatment developed to cure certain types of animals could most likely bear the same potential to help humans.

Furthermore, animal experiments ensures the safety of drugs. It helps to test the drugs and many other substances that humans are exposed to regularly. Drugs can carry dangers with their use but animal testing allows researchers to make sure it is safe for humans to reduce human harm and lesser lose of human lives. It is not to avoid the dangers but because drugs themselves save lives as well as to improve the quality of human life.

Some may say that innocent animals get hurt for no reason but I do not agree with that as humans lives are usually longer than most animals. Normal humans can live up to 60 years old unlike animals which have a shorter lifespan.

In conclusion, conducting animal experiments can be beneficial for the world now as treatments can be created, and also ensures the safety of drugs to prevent increasing harm on both animals and humans.

It is also for the survival of the animals.
To start off, animal experiments are cruel towards tye animals as the animals are being physically experimented.

Money is the root of all evil. Do you agree?

Stand : Yes.

Money. It makes the world go round. It is so ironic to think that a flat rectangular piece of paper with a number inscribed on it is worth more value than that of a bigger sheet of paper, so similar and yet so different at the same time. We go about our daily activites and we never seem to wonder too much about money, purchasing a new pen or pencil, paying for your lunch in the school canteen, we never truly thought about it as something that would affect our future negatively right? Unfortunately, as the saying goes, "Money is the root of all evil." And i believe that it is the root of all evil. Imagine a world where money is nonexistent, which means that there would not even be currency available. Would families have been broken up by any financial problems? Would there be a line drawn to distinguish the rich from the poor? I believe not.

There will be instances whereby the exchange rate for certain countries may rise or fall depending on its economy. In the past, when our ancestors traded goods instead of purchasing them, we had traded our goods upon agreeable terms and in a civilised manner. There was no solid price for how much the item should be sold, the value was only judged by how important the item would mean to the person. However in the present, due to the invention of money, too much of it could lead to inflation and too little of it could lead to deflation. This will cause the distribution of money to fluctuate and the value of certain goods may be affected. For example, once Donald Trump was elected president, the economy in the United States of America fell and so did the exchange rate, which may have affected the price of items. Due to this, people who come from a low-income background may not be able to continue surviving in this new society as they may not be able to afford certain necessities such as food and shelter.

Other than its negative effect on poorer people, money could also be used as a weapon. You may be thinking how a small piece of paper could harm someone. A paper cut perhaps? Well, that is not exactly the main point. Since money is used to purchase items, one of the many items it purchases is weaponry. Some people, particularly terrorists or criminals, use money to purchase certain items from either the Dark Web, apart of the World Wide Web that sells online that could be illegal, or the Black Market, where items that may also be illegal are sold at a very cheap price. Upon purchasing these items these people may create dangerous weapons. Thus, only if we know how to control what we purchase, money could cause much damage to our society.

Money could also bring out the true colors of others. I am very sure that everyone has experienced greed before. Most people would like to have more money and think that having more money would give them a higher status such as being rich. These people most likely follow the saying "the more the merrier" and apply it to their perception of money. However, once they have achieved the amount of money they want, some of these people tend to lose their peace of mind and security. They are too obsessed with their money that they fear someone might steal their money or someone close them is actually after their money instead of their friendship. This will cause the individual to either be overprotective of their money or be unfriendly with others due to their undue suspicions. Hence, this shows that money will not buy you happiness. Instead, it can bring you pain and despair if you prioritize it over true happiness.

After reading most of my above-mentioned arguments, you may think that money has its cons. However, you may argue that money has become a more efficient way of exchanging goods. Well, you are not wrong. However, due to the increasing ability of people to become affluent, unhealthy comparisons between the rich and poor can happen. The poor may succumb to their greed and jealousy and steal or bribe others to get more money for themselves quickly.

In conclusion, money makes the world go round. Hence, the existence of money tends to create more social unrest as compared to the days of barter trade. Even with money making the world go round, it still will not buy you happiness. Your happiness is not dependent on how much money you own, but on how we use it. Money should never be in the hands of dangerous and harmful people. Money may have been made to allow others to be able to pay for items more efficiently, however, it comes with some evils that mankind cannot eradicate as well

Stand: No
Have you ever wonder a world without money or currency? A world without money means having nothing the the 21st century ! So , with money people can be doing tons of stuffs from buying necessities for example : home food and investing in stocks and houses for more money and finally to help the needy by donating. In fact , with money you could protect yourself from almost all kinds of danger and disaster .
So , many people can become from rich to richer by investing . However these people did not use their money for evil deeds , every year there are lots of charity fund raising programmes these rich people did donate lots of money and help the needy . Rich people especially will do good deeds as to to gain fame fame and trust , to to become richer . We cannot deny the fact that the poor and needy do benefits from these charity organisations but most of it i believe are beneficial for the needy as there are article reports on the events
With money , you could do lots of things . For example , with money you can buy a house as a form of security for yourself , with money you could buy a car that can let you wherever you want.Which can bring you convenience and easier lifestyles .
Lastly , with money you could almost all cures for your illness especially for adults . When you have children , you will realize how important being healthy is very important . As if you do not want your illness to spread to your children . So if you ever get sick and you could not find the treatment to cure your illness and a time passes , your children would get infected . But if you have money you could get the treatment and stay healthy . Once again we cannot deny that not all illness can be cured but at the moment for now if you have dengue you need to be admitted in the hospital and hospital fees are not cheap now without the help of government.
Although some or maybe most of the people would argue that there are also lots of ways money can bring harm to people , i would want to rebut on this claim . For example , money could be used to build war machines that could bring about the extinction of humans . What is the main purpose of people donating ? Huge sum of money is it out if pure generosity or would they want fame or escaping from tax to the government . i would like to rebut on this claim . For example , not only rich people donate . Recently a thai advertisement showed a guy that is poor but able to make himself full everyday and went to streets and give money and books to a mother and daughter and one day the daughter came back from school happily as she finally received proper education . Although this guy did not get any fame or free from tax, he got happiness.
In conclusion , money is capable of helping and killing people . We humans ourselves must control money and not let money control our minds. It is encouraged that we evil schemes to get dirty money for example people killing elephants for their ivory and selling it in black markets

Stand: NO

Arguments are battles fought with words and emotions, people voicing out their deep-rooted opinions no matter how wrong they are. There are many topics to wage wars over, such as doing revision and amount of time allocated to watching television. One of the LARGEST issues on the topics of family arguments in this constantly growing society is the usage of the internet.

Parents have tried their cunning strategies to get their children's glued eyeballs away from that dratted rectangular screen, from guilt tripping their children to usage of the bete noire of children, the cane. However, these have been rendered useless as children of this generation are smart enough to come up with an equally Machiavellian counters, such as sobbing big blubbery tears and begging for mercy whilst stating how pitiful they are in school. Parents will be deeply affected and let their silent grudge sit from periods ranging from three days to a week, and then the vicious cycle continues. In this cycle, what both parties are unaware of is that they are harming each other's psychological health, as they are merely just putting each other down and increasing stress and depression levels. This will have a lifelong effect in the long run, as it can lead to low self esteem levels, which in turn may lead to isolated treatment from others.

Therefore, I strongly believe that imposing rules on time used on internet usage is not the answer, as what I am seeking is a consensus between the two parties and not a one sided-victory. However, that also does not mean that I believe that leaving children to their own devices (literally), but that they should also exercise self-control.

Firstly, children should be allowed to use the internet as long and as freely as they want because I believe that everyone should be treated as equals, with children definitely not being an exception. Therefore, if parents are allowed to use the internet freely and whenever they want, there's no reason to why children shouldn't they be allowed to be excluded from these privileges.

Secondly, it has been proven by scientists that some children can exercise self-control if they want to. Parents can provide children with rewards if they comply with the rules, thus motivating children to listen and obey to their parents. This can also lead to happier families being able to cooperate and live together in harmony. Consensuses can be formed so that both parties are sure to reach a win-win situation.

However, some people may argue that children aren't like adults; they don't go to work and earn money like adults do and they have a more immature mentality compared to adults. But children are not allowed to work until a certain age. Besides, when adults were young and living in the gray era, they were also goofing off with their friends. Their parents also expected them to contribute society at the right age too. In a war, there are no winners or losers. Only casualties. This treacherous loop needs to stop.

In conclusion, it is of utmost importance to ensure that children are given freedom and their rights to access to the internet. Of course, the parent has every right to step in and stop the children if they go overboard, but that is more of a last resort.

Animal experiment should be allowed. Do you agree?

Animal experiment are experiments that are tested using animals to find out the outcome of the experiment. I do not agree that animal experiments should be allowed, as experimenting on animals is a very inhumane act, and they do not react the same way as humans do. Sometimes, substances tested by experiments might not be useful.

Experimenting on animals is a very inhumane act, such as using them as a guinea pig for newly invented drugs and using them to test out cosmetic products. Animals are also living things and animal experiment will have very adverse effects on them. Imagine if humans are the ones being experimented on? Humans will feel sympathetic towards the animals being experimented, as humans have feelings, if they do not have feelings towards them, it clearly defines that those humans are very cruel.

Sometimes, humans and animals do not react the same way. When humans are being discriminated and bullied, they will stand up for themselves, but, animals cannot stand up for themselves as humans normally have a higher status and population than animals. In the modern century, people think that animals "live to die". People think that they are alive and being raised, just to be killed and consumed as food by humans. That is their status in life, lower than the humans in the animal kingdom.

Have we ever wondered, how many percent of the substances tested by experimenting on animals will be useful? Some of the substances tested by experimenting on animals might not be useful. If that is the case, then animals that are being experimented would end up sacrificing their lives. For example, if they are testing for a new drug and experimented on one-hundred dogs, the one hundred dogs would die for nothing if the experiment is not successful.

Many people may argue that animals do not have feelings and they behave differently from human beings. This is not true as research has proven that animals have feelings. For example, when a man adopts a dog, and lives with it for more than a year, the dog will feel attached to the man, like a saying goes, ' Dogs are man's best friends ' So, this statement, ' Animals do not have feelings ' is false.

In conclusion, people should always remember that animals do have feelings too and they should respect animals. Animals live in this world, not to be experimented by humans. Animals should not be allowed for experiments.

Money is the root of all evil. Do you agree?

Stand: Yes.

Have you ever thought how the world would be if money was non-existent? Many people would think that it would be the end of the world if there was no such thing as money as they are so used to pulling out money from the wallets to pay for something. I think the world would be a much more peaceful place if money does not exist as some people would be blinded by greed and are willing to go to extreme ways just to obtain more money and people would be much more sincere and considerate of other people's feelings.

One of the main reasons why people are greedy is because of money. They want to have a large amount of money and spend them on luxurious goods. They believe to a large extent that the more money they have, their social status would be high as well. However, instead of earning their money in a honest manner, they want to earn it instantaneously and in large amounts all at once. This is one of the reasons why some people will resort to doing shady businesses such as selling drugs to innocent people as small packets of drugs can be sold for at least a hundred dollars. According to some statistics, one kilograms of cocaine, a type of drug, can cost at least $1500 in Columbia, and if it makes it to Australia, it costs at least $200 000. This makes drug trafficking one of the most profitable markets around the world, which is why some people are willing to risk their future to earn more money.

Besides doing shady businesses, people are willing to use unscrupulous ways to get a hold of more money. Some people are willing to steal their relatives' hard-earned money and precious jewellety just to obtain more money. Most of the the time, this is because they are addicted to gambling. They want to gain more money in the fastest way all at one shot, which is why some of them may resort to gambling, and thus gambling addiction comes into play. This will disappoint their loved ones greatly as having gambling addiction means that you have a unprincipled behaviour. Having a loved one having gambling addiction may seem humiliating to other people and the family's name will be tarnished.

In addition, there are numerous people who are well-off and think that money is the only way to solve problems. Such mindsets are obnoxious, thus making people seem insincere and inconsiderate of other people's feelings. This makes important values we learnt as a child such as love, respect and compassion deemed useless as the person would seem arrogant and ignorant. For example, if a partner of a pair of couple feels that they cannot go on with their relationship, the partner may give a sum of money to the other partner to "compensate" the other partner's broken heart. However, a broken heart cannot be healed just by receiving money. It's just like a child apologizing after breaking a vase—nothing can be fixed after breaking a vase. Plus, if the relationship is not related to money at all, throwing money at it will not help a single bit.

Some people may argue that there are, in fact, wealthy people who are very genuine and kind-hearted whom donate large amounts of money to multiple charities. However, how does one know that they are truly passionate in helping people or hiding some other motives? They might be donating money to charities just to escape away from taxes, and usually the amount of money they donate is smaller than their taxes.

In conclusion, people are trying to win the rat's race of earning more money nowadays that they are neglecting their family and important values. Sure, having a large amount of money is a great thing, but true happiness cannot be bought by money. Thus, in my opinion, money is the root of all evil.

They are all required to be experimented on animating order to be deemed fit for human use. Animal experiments have been the cause of new products, medicine and ideas of our progressive world. However, each year 500 million animals die due to such experiments. It has encouraged lab testers to continue their cruel experiments despite knowing the disadvantages that will be explained later in this essay. They should hence disallow animal experiments as these tests are often for luxury items, an abuse to animals and they produce inaccurate results.

Lab testers around the world take advantage of the abundance of animals as a sign to exploit them, put them under chemical tests and then open up their bodies to observe side effects after injecting harmful drugs. All these for just one measly item- a perfume. Who would have known that all these cruel experiments are required for such luxury item? Lab testers often find other means of getting money other than being involved in the research field because it is very competitive to be successful in that field. This encourages lab testers to go for a different profession by helping to create newer products in an unhealthy way to appeal to the market. Moreover, customers are oblivious to what happens behind the scenes of making their everyday products. Therefore, unless lab testers use the results to contribute to human progression, animal experiments should be disallowed for the making of luxury items.

Besides being used for luxury goods, animal rights activist have constantly been protesting against animal experiments. They have repeatedly educated the public and reasoned why they should not be allowed, reasons such as animals doing nothing wrong to humans. The value of respect should not only be applicable to humans but also to animals as well. Why injure organisms that did not prevent human progressions? Animals too have senses and brain of its own and are capable of feeling pain, whether emotionally or physically. A lot of lab testers have promised that the animals undergo " safe " experiments but what proof do they have besides their own words? Although animals do not have the same intelligence as humans, they are still capable of reacting to pain. What if we were the ones getting tested on instead of animals? To add on, getting experimented on without permission? Therefore, I believe and support animal rights activists to dosallow animal experiments.

Another reason why animal experiments should be disallowed is because they usually produce inaccurate results. It is claimed that these animal experiments are used to produce human medicine but the difference between humans and animals is a big stretch. If our appearances are already different, then what about other factors? For example, lab frogs withstand more heat than we humans can handle. Injecting harmful drugs inside these animals till they produce a result that says that it does not harm the animal is very redundant. In the first place, are not these lab testers experts at what is harmful and what is not? Another way to contribute and produce human medicine in a humane way is to test on human volunteers. They have provided their consent and know what the consequences if the experiments fail. Hence, this is also another key reason why animal experiments should be disallowed.

Lab testers may argue that all animal experiments contribute to the creation of medicine, food and appliances for pets and there is hence no cause for undue worry. However, as said earlier in this essay, not all experiments are for the purpose of animal medicine. Some are for luxury products and some, even worse, are for lab testers' greed to find new medical breakthroughs without the use of humans through a quicker way. Furthermore, there are other safer ways to invent animal medicine. Companies have swore an oath to not practise cruel animal tests and these companies are the same ones that produce animal goods and such. There are also cheaper and more effective ways other than experimenting on animals. Lab testers only want the easy way out of things especially if the easy way makes big bucks.

In conclusion, animal experiments are the result of human greed throughout decades. From luxury items to rights of animals and inaccurate experiments, there are other reasons as to why animal experiments should be banned. It is therefore encouraged that animal experiments be banned so that maybe lab testers can discover new, lawful way of benefitting the world.

Money is the root of all evil. The root of all evil comes from the evil-doings of man and the love of money. It is man's greed and wrong ways that have uprooted the basic principles which the idea of money had been originally developed for. Happiness and a beautiful family were top priority. Today, goals of leaders of various nations are riches and nothing else. The people that support them and put their trust in are completely disregarded. The leaders’ neglect the needs of the people and concentrate on only accumulating their wealth. Good examples of this sinister behavior are hostage situations. Their main objective is to receive large amounts of money. They overlook the fact that they are putting innocent lives in danger. Money, we can’t live with it, but we cannot live without it.

Money creates people that have no regard for their conscience. People believe that money equals happiness. They assume that friends, a better lifestyle and popularity will follow. This is what is kept deep in their hearts and all they strive for. The love of money has the power to warp a person's mind and personality. Hence, people will lie and cheat to get them closer to obtaining it.

Destruction of the environment is another example of evil caused by greed from the use of money. Toxic waste were dumped indiscriminately because it costs money to dispose waste properly. Fishermen who desire to earn more money resort to using fishing methods that destroy marine life such as the use of dynamite. Huge amounts of forests have been cut down to make timber merchants rich and property developers wealthy. Therefore, the environment might have a high risk of being affected by the wrongdoings of people.

Money can be used as a tool of enslavement and control. Think about how many community based projects to benefit many at low cost are invested in. Most of the projects brings the investors more money, not providing the benefactors of the said projects with helpful resources, receives more money.

However, people may argue that money on the other hand, is merely a way to give them a sense of freedom and eases access to experiences, information, life's necessities and its luxuries. In a sense, it does grant an independence from certain things. Money is a decent way of measuring the worth of your output and is a powerful tool where one may be able to teach the physical impact of something. After all, money is only valuable just only because we believe it to be so

In conclusion, money is capable of taking control of people's minds and actions, leading them to doing wrong things although they themselves knew that it is wrong and therefore, money should be considered the root of all evil.
