         <description><![CDATA[<div>Moisture will increase the amount of bugs. This was found faithful because the isopods stayed in the moist chamber. On the other hand, in the dry chamber, the bugs moved a lot. The movement means they do not like where they are; called kinesis. The data shows that the average for the moist chamber, 7.1 is more than the dry chamber average being 2.9. Also, the error bars did not overlap meaning that if the experiment was done again the results would be the same. The moisture for the isopods is important because they have gills and undersides that must be kept wet. This adds to the fact that moisture will increase the amount of bugs because bugs need an environment to keep them alive.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Nitrate does affect duckweed growth depending on how much is given. It was found true because over the 10 days the error bars got farther apart. The error bars on the duckweed that had 0 nitrates had a growth ranging from 19.4 to 13.2. On the other hand, the duckweed with 1.5 nitrates ranged from 39.2 to 28.8. This proves that nitrate affects duckweed growth because when there is more nitrate for the duckweed there is more growth. The article "Beware of Nitrates" from Colorado State University states that nitrates turn into protein for plants. It also says that protein is good for plants' health. This means that nitrate affects duckweed growth because it will help them grow to be healthier. The same article also says that when nitrates exceed too high levels they can be poisonous. Knowing this information adds to the fact that duckweed growth affects duckweed growth depending on how much is given. This is because if too high of levels is given then it will decrease the amount of growth.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>In 12 minutes, when light increases, the photosynthesis for spinach also increases. This was found because the average spinach leaves in full light floated in the water during the experiment were higher than those with partial and no light.&nbsp; For example, at 12 minutes the leaves in full light averaged 3.1 leaves at the surface of the water, and the leaves in no light averaged 0.1 at the surface. This means that light created a lot more photosynthesis because plants get their energy from light. The spinach leaves float because they are using photosynthesis to create energy. By doing this they are turning the carbon dioxide into oxygen. When the leaves have more oxygen they float higher. Without light, they do not float as high therefore they will not be able to get the energy to be able to reproduce photosynthesis. According to "Photosynthesis" by National Geographic plants need water, carbon dioxide, and sunlight. This adds to the claim because it shows that plants will not be able to do photosynthesis without sunlight. When plants have more time of light they have more energy to photosynthesize.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Solute concentration affects the direction and rate of water movement. When there is more solute then there is less mass. In the experiment after the solute concentration was about 0.3 the mass percentage went negative. This means the water is being dragged out because it is hypertonic. The water will move out of the potato cells to the sucrose. The Amoeba Sister's video on Osmosis explained that the sugar concentration was attempting to equalize the percentage of sugar and water on both sides of the cell membrane. Water molecules are attracted to solutes because they are charged and polar. Since the sugar is on the outside of the cell membrane there will be less water in the cells making the potatoes weigh less.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The interphase takes the most time when looking at an onion root tip cell. Looking at the data a class took on this, it is visible because interphase took up 55.2% of all the cells. It took 795.5 minutes out of 1440.0 minutes. While the other phases at the most took 347.4 minutes. The interphase almost took double the time. This is possible because it is when "the cell grows and the nuclear DNA is duplicated", says LibreText Biology. During this, the cells go through G1, G1, and S. When the cell goes through this many things it will take the most time.&nbsp;The other phases do not have this many steps in it. </div>]]></description>
