I believe that Lennie's dream is.... He wants a piece of land with George. He wants a place were he can tend the rabbits and be with George. He is constantly asking George to tell him about the future about his dream. I believe that George is the one thing he needs and wants most in his future. I know this because Lennie said this " I got you to look after me and you have me to look after you." pg 14 This shows there like brothers. another incident is when crooks was messing with Lennie. This is the only incident were Lennie almost got physical with someone, the thought that crooks put into his head about " who hurt George" pg 72 Lennie demanded. with this crooks then jumped back because he saw Lennie as danger, quickly with realizing his mistake he reassured him George would be ok. I think that this is Lennie's desired future. I also believe that George and Lennie share a goal and dream of owning there own land. this is stated throughout the book... the first time we heard of there shared fantasy's was pg 14.

He likes to pet animals but since he’s so strong he always kills them, but rabbits are big enough so he won’t kill it. “Go on George!

I think Lennie's dream is to live on his own farm to tend the rabbits and other animals. In "Of Mice and Men" by Steinbeck it states on page 75 it states, "But I get to tend 'em," Lennie broke in. "George says I get to tend 'em. he promised." this shows that Lennie wants to tend the rabbits because he is getting defensive about how candy said that he knew how he was going to make money off of them. But in reality Lennie does not have any rabbits and they don't even own the farm yet. one piece of evidence is when Candy George and Lennie were talking aobut how they were going to get their land. But it has not happened yet.

Lennie shows this when he accidentally kills the puppy that Slim gave him. He says,”George ain’t gonna let me tend the rabbits.” Page 87 He tells everyone on the farm that him and George are going to have their own farm and he’s honing to tend the rabbits. Also, George won’t even let him tend the rabbits anymore because he killed the puppy that Slim gave him (as stated in the quote above).

Also Lennie got a pup from George because wanted to give Lennie something he can pet without killing, like the mice. This is important because Lennie is getting something he has be begging George for and George is trusting him on taking good care of the pup.

Lennies Dream is to take care of rabbits, “Well, he said if I done any more bad things he ain’t gonna let me tend the rabbits,”(Steinbeck 87). When Lennie is faced with reality in the barn with Crooks and Candy Lennie has been made to feel like he’s in trouble. Lennie is worried that if George finds out that he’s in a situation that he is not supposed to be in then George will not let him tend some rabbits.
Another example of Lennies dream of taking care of some rabbits is at the beginning of the story when Lennie is carrying a dead mouse in his pocket and George knows about the dead mouse and doesn’t want Lennie carrying it when they camp out for the first night George promises Lennie to let him tend some rabbits, “...because if you do, I won’t let you tend the rabbits,”(Steinbeck 16). George finally gave in to Lennies wishes and told Lennie that if they got some land and money that Lennie could tend some rabbits.
The final reason Lennies Dream is to tend some rabbits is because, on page, 14 Lennie and George are talking about what they want to work for and their end goal with working on different ranches, “An’ live off the fatta the lan’,” Lennie shouted. “An’ have rabbits. Go on George!”(Steinbeck 14). In Lennies head he has this big open creative mind because he wants to take care of some rabbits to touch.

Curly’s wife’s dream is to not be alone all the time. Even though she flirts with a lot of guys doesn’t mean that she’s not lonely or sad. She said, “think I don’t like to talk to somebody ever’ once in a while. Think I like to stick in that house alla time” (pg. 77). People don’t know that she’s actually lonely because she covers it up. However, since curly is gone all the time, she will be lonely a lot. And most of the guys just think she’s a flirt.
