Malala is Pakistani, and she moved from Pakistan to Birmingham, England, because it was too dangerous back in Pakistan. But aside from her moving from her beloved home, she seems to be having a good life so far.

Ever since Malala almost died because of her speaking up about her right to go to school, she's been having a feeling that something terrible was going to happen to her, and she wants to know what death feels like, if something were to happen to her.

She is a member of a tribe called Pashtun--a tribe spread across Afghanistan and Pakistan.

She is going to school and her words might have been heard by the wrong people. Women aren't supposed to go to school. Her school got shut down (Five more where destroyed by terrorists in four days)

Her brothers pretended to be terrorists.

She is watching shows to learn more english

They lifted the ban on all girls elementary school but malala was to old (No girl over ten was allowed). but malala still went.

If she got caught she could be beaten or killed.

In palestine having a girl is seen as shameful

She is mad that men refuse to send there daughters to school

Malala is starting to want to stop the oppression of women to stop in palestine

She learned its worse some places

Malala's dad sent a letter back to the Taliban, telling them that they could kill him, but his only request is that they don't hurt his schoolchildren. His letter appeared in the newspaper. People thanked him for giving other people the courage to speak out. But not that many did. Malala and a lot of other people's hero, Benazi Bhutto, was also killed by the terrorists, which most people didn't think was even possible. With some better news, the army had shown up, and threw candy down from the sky, and now they are going to give peace to Swat. But the Taliban went undefeated, and now there are bombings, guns, etc, all the time, and it went on for a year and a half. More bad news - the Fazlullah's men have shut off all the TV channels, for being too western, and 200 schools got bombed.

Malala is thinking more and more about what and why things happen because she is a girl.

Malala is luckier than most people because her dad is a teacher so she learned a lot.

The earthquake also made things worse for malala.

This earthquake seems to have devastated citizens of palestine.

Some man is investigating them saying teenage girls should not go to school. and how it is against islam.

A new girl called Malka-e-Noor is going to there school

There is also worry about Afghanistan crossing borders.

Malala believed that a magical pencil would change the world somehow, and she believed she could get one and she kept asking God if she can get one, but eventually she stopped because she didn't believe it anymore.

Her mother wanted to help poor families, and Malala wanted to help all the children from the dump, so Malala's mother put bread crusts in a bowl on the kitchen windowsill for the birds, and she also put a pot of rice and chicken for the families in need.

He is declaring war on the government.

He seems to be a terrorist.

The terrorist were now killing police men and civilians.

Bad people seem to have found her school

They are starting to bomb Normal girl schools that are legal. They bombed a kindergarten.

After the curfew started, the army started bombing and shooting at the Taliban and it was a night full of bombing. They sent about 10,000 more men and it continued for every night for a whole entire year, and strangely, Malala and her family actually got USED to it, and slept through all of the bombing.

Malala and her friends did a peace rally but it didn't work. They have declared NO. girl shalt go to school.

Malala finally got the encouragement to speak up. She backs down but then

Buildings in the town were destroyed and ruined due to the bombing, but somehow the Kushal school was still intact, and shops were reopening.

In Pakistan, a flood occured and 2 more schools were bombed.

They were beating any one who did have a burqa on. They also seem to beat kids now that they are bold.

Malala has to evacuate because of the war

And she must leave her school bookss behind

The soldier let them go.

She went to live in the village with her family.

The Taliban had lost and were on the run.

But then her fathers friend had been ambushed while going home.

the taliban still didn't stop and blew up schools. They also kidnapped and killed people.

Malala had won yet another prize (the peace prize)

Her kidneys were about to fail. she had a tube through her.

Even through all this malala says she doesn't regret it.

The army took charge and she was in a helicopter Going to an army hospital.

People wanted to see malala but weren't aloud to. 164-

Malala feels different from the other girls in Birmingham because she sometimes makes jokes and the british girls dont get it, and when they make jokes she doesn't get it, so i guess she feels left out because she used to joke and laugh with her friends back in Pakistan, but now she doesn't get the jokes in England.

She met world leaders, and won the Nobel Peace Prize from her heroic efforts.

Her father still wakes her up in the morning and makes her breakfast and they still continue on with their day, as if Malala wasn't considered a celebrity.

She's still in contact with her friends from swat, like Moniba and Shazia, which i find really sweet. After she met all those celebrities, she gave a speech about how Malala day is about everyone whos lives were lost by the Taliban, terrorists, etc,

and she said anyone can change the world.

And just like that, it's the end of the book. I'd rate it a 8/10 It was really good and i would recommend.
