Recent targets of Anonymous include Sony, the Church of Scientology, ISIS, child pornography sites, the Westboro Baptist Church, Paypal, Visa, and MasterCard. They will often DDoS these sites (Distributed Denial of Service) where internet connection to the host server is temporarily or permanently suspended.
