2. Pottery Workshop: Host a pottery workshop where participants can create their own pots with the guidance of a skilled potter. Charge a fee (e.g., ₹150) that covers materials and instruction. Participants can take home their creations, adding value to the experience.

3. Handmade Crafts Sale: Create and sell handmade items to raise funds. Consider the following options:

• Bookmarks: Design unique bookmarks using platforms like Canva. Enhance them with ribbons or beads for added appeal. Sell them at events or online.

• Bracelets: Collaborate with a someone ( my friend ) who owns a bead shop to source materials. Learn to make bracelets efficiently (e.g., one in three minutes) and offer customizable options at a stall or online.

• Candles: Although initial costs may be higher, homemade candles can be sold at a premium. Create various scents and designs to attract a broad customer base. Sell them at local markets or online platforms.

1. Photowalk

• Charge participants 250-400 ticket price

• Select one start location one ending location and a scenic route.

• Take participants on a walk on the route, and encourage them to take photos, we can host icebreaker games in between.

• Low effort and cost on our end, we just need to focus on the marketing and logistics.

• Depending on the timing, we can partner with local businesses for snacks/chai.

2. Collaborate with University Clubs

• University clubs host events all the time and most of them have a requirement to collaborate with NGOs for at least a few events.

• We can have them organize events of their liking for their audience, and either take a commission on per ticket basis (in maybe exchange for our network or volunteers attending their event to help out) OR, we can have a booth at their event where their audience (students, faculties, visitors, etc) can pledge amounts to us.

3. Collaborate with other community-based initiatives in Ahmedabad

• Almost every weekend, there are entrepreneur-networking events where we can meet a lot of investors and people with budding businesses, that might be open to supporting NGOs.

• We request a slot to pitch ourselves, or simply network with businesses to whom we can pitch individually- This can begin long before Feb too to help us widen our network and spread the word.

4. Home-businesses/small businesses

• A lot of students or home-makers run small businesses and seek exposure, we can pitch to them to provide us with a stock of their hero product (cookies from bakers, stickers from artists, etc) to sell in a pop-up, in exchange for exposure and marketing.

• Might seem unlikely, but a lot of small businesses would be empathetic with our cause and agree to help out; we just need to pitch it well.
