I drive my Dodge Durango daily.

I see the speed of the cars and curves of the streets

The impatient stop signs and bumper to bumper strings.

Lights that twinkle red and white, 

all contributing to twists in my mind.

A solitary confinement for thirty to forty-five. In cased next to drivers that display like dolls.

I hear the jams, the raps, and the melodies of oldies. 

All of them  inspire my desire to place dire need for release. 

Yes,

I write to release, 
to relive, to re-imagine, and to reach.

I write to put to paper what my eyes send to my soul and back out through my fingertips.
