For example, When ice melts it is a physical change. According to the text, Chemical changes happen when substances combine or break apart to form a new substance for example digesting food is actually a chemical change. This shows that Chemical and physical changes are two types of transformations.

The author says, that in passage number two that a chemical change is something that happens when substances combine or break apart to form new substances with different properties. Another key detail is that one common example of a chemical change is that rust forming on metal. Two key details of a physical is a change in the way that something looks, feels, or behaves, but it does not create a new substance. Another key details are for example if you melt an ice cube to get water, the ice changes form from a solid to a liquid without coming a different kind of matter.

The two key details that I have is Physical and Chemical changes are essential because they help us understand how matter behaves and interacts with other substances. Physical and Chemical changes are two types of transformations that occur to substances. Overall, Physical and Chemical changes play a crucial roles in our daily lives and in the world around us.

So the main idea of the passage is chemical change you can't undo it and physical change it is still the same.

My two key details are that physical and chemical are different. Physical is different because in the text it says. "Physical change is a change in the way something looks, feels or behaves. Chemical change happens when substances combine or break apart to form new substances with different properties. That's how I know there alike and different.
