What differences have you seen between the Spanish language and your native language? What did you find interesting and exciting about the Costa Rican culture?

Differences I have found from my culture and Costa Rican culture is the amount of love and acceptance Costa Ricans have over their family and community. Where I am from, people are often very disconnected from each other and social event are not common. I find it very interesting that this is the way it turned out for America and makes me wonder what Costa Rican's do to keep such buetiful connections with each other.

What do you hope to learn if you continue to study the Spanish language?

I hope to continue learning Spanish, broading my knowledge and learning new cultures while doing it. It is important to recognize the complexity that each language holds> I believe the only way you can understand the complexity of it is by learning it.

We have learned elements of a language in a different teaching/learning style than you may be used to. Talk about your experience with learning Spanish in an online class. What did you like about the course? What did you not like and/or what could be improved?

I disliked the organization of the modules, I found it very hard to organize and never understood what had to be done and when. If there was a tutorial for people using the site for the first time, I think that would help. I really enjoyed the lenience on the late penalties, I have had a very busy second semester and really appreciate the lenience you have contributed to me.

What things did you do that helped you learn Spanish in this course? What things can you do to improve your own Spanish learning in the future?

Things that helped me include making a list of due to and scrolling through my grades and seeing what needs to be done. 1 thing I want to work on is my time management and when I get things done.
