Most of the time people would not do it because you have already lived a good long life.If you were young, you would most likely go through treatment because you had the rest of your life to live and your parents would want you to not die at such a young age so they would influence your decision. I think that my age influences the way I make decisions becasuse I have not experienced much yet which limits my perspectives and reflects in the way I think. I think my family and friends influence my decisions because they bring new perspectives into the situation as well as different ways to approach it.  This helps me be more open-minded and makes it easier for me to put myself in someone elses shoes. I think the main thing that influences me making a consequentialist choice or a deontologist choice is the situation.   If the situation involves not doing the right thing to get a good result (cheating, stealing, ect) I would choose the deontologist decision. deontologist: I can not live with myself if I do something wrong. Are you going to lie, cheat, steal and be selfish and horrible just to get a good result!? If I seen my friend doing something bad I would tell them to stop and try to change their mind. If it came to the worst I would have to tell a teacher. This is not only the right thing to do but I will know that I am helping my friend as well. You might think that this is not helping a friend in any way but it really is because I can help my friends make the right choice and do the right thing.
