These pictures were portraits that I took to see how each of the objects complimented each other and how the daylight was affecting them as a collection of objects. I grouped the diffuser and souevenier from home together because they are direct connections to my home and bring me comfort through my senses in terms of visually and olfactory. The souevenir is something My best friend gave to me at the airport before I left, it reminds me of home and comfort and brings joy, The diffuser is something that reminds me of home through my sense of smell, it is the same scent we use at home and is a way of me adding pieces of home to my new home in London. I thought that these two objects worked in a collection as they both remind me of home through my senses and they also compliment each other through the colors.

The steel card was something my mom got delivered to my room in London when I was feeling out of place and was homesick, It immediately made me feel like I was not alone and had a piece of my mom with me everywhere I go, I keep it in my wallet and in moments of doubt or when I am reminiscing about home I pull it out, glance at it and go about my day feeling connected to home. 
The charm bracelet is a piece of my sister and mom that I always have on me,  It was a gift my sister bought me with her first paycheck years ago and all of the charms have been bought by my mom and sister over a couple of years. 
I thought that grouping these 2 objects together were ideal because my mom and sister are the two people who have shielded, protected and guided me through everything, they have always been there for me and these two objects make me feel like I have them around me.
