What seems to be true for my group is that they are using evidence without sufficient warrants/ reasoning and, if they were able to hew to directions they would fare better.  We need to spend a little bit of time with how the items work to get them to pay more attention the directions. <br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>As we have discussed, I found that many of my 9th Grade Resource class experienced difficulty in both supplying an accurate conclusion to complex text AND actually including specific evidence or direct references to the text. The latter was noticeably absent from many student responses, showing that they may not be reading/following ALL the instructions.</div>]]></description>
