We were in the fourth quarter and down by 2 with 24 seconds to go. There was a turnover and the other team got the ball back, so we didn’t have a lot of time left in the game. Our coach had a plan inbound the ball and make a layup and go into overtime. We tried to do this, but my teammate missed the layup, and my other teammate got the rebound and threw it back out to me on the wing. I didn’t want to have to shoot it. I was really nervous but our whole bench was behind me and they were yelling at me to shoot. I shot the ball and before I knew it our whole team was jumping on me. I won the game to advance us to the championship. All my teammates were happy, and I was happy that I did it too. Everyone talked about it for two weeks and we were all still talking about how crazy it was. It was awful , but when I started to feel better .. I got up and started to clean. I am normally the one that cleans more frequently, so when I started to feel better I cleaned the whole house. Mop, Dishes, Laundry, all that ... and when my mom got home she was so happy and appreciative for the work that I had done.
