Hapara and Google Classroom can be linked, making it easier to manage students and classes. When this feature is enabled, Google Classroom classes can be synced into Hapara, allowing teachers to use Hapara Dashboard, Workspace and Highlights with their Google Classroom classes. You would need Administrator access to enable this feature.

"In my opinion, Hapara has only a couple advantages over Google Classroom. When using Hapara, teachers can view their students’ browsers and restrict the websites they are visiting. Google Classroom is much more user friendly for both teachers and students. Students can more easily find the assignments their teachers have shared with them because they are posted on a stream that they can scroll through as opposed to a list that doesn’t show all assignments on Hapara. Additionally, teachers can grade assignments and return them back to students. Teachers can also open an assignment and view all student work on one page and/or click an arrow to move from one student to the next. On Hapara, the teacher has to go back to the home page and open each assignment one at a time. This creates many tabs and clicking back and forth."
- Katie Dufner, 7th Grade ELA
