I think that each student should have a say in their success goals and have the ability to include their family. Showing the students empathy and respect will be mirrored. With this, I believe that as a school counselor we can be advocates in the form of the role model for the students as we help them towards their goals. Honesty and integrity go lengths when shown to the students, because they will in turn, mimic what they are exposed to. Remembering that each student is different and will have different goals and dreams for their lives. Being the advocate, we are able to create the optimal environment for success. Along with creating equal opportunity. 

Ethical standards I believe are in place to ensure students are receiving the highest level of support and ensuring the ability for success. "They guide school counselors' decision-making and help standardize professional practice to protect both students and school counselors"  (ASCA, 2019, p. 46).  They ensure the ability to provide support on different levels while including family but still maintaining that limits of confidentiality. 

Vision Statement:

As a school counselor, I want to make sure I always aim to provide a safe and supportive environment for ALL students. Making sure we work as a team to ensure the best possible outcome by reaching students' goals and academic achievement.

As I began to take them, I began to get interested in taking all of them, just to see what the outcome would be. I chose to do the weight and sexuality assessments. During the assessment I was feeling a bit judgmental, worried about the outcome. 
The first assessment I chose to do was the weight assessment, thin vs  fat. The results were that I had a moderate automatic preference to thin people over fat people. I find this to be inaccurate in the sense of not having a preference for either thin nor fat. There is an equal preference between them both in my opinion. I felt I was overthinking the answers while doing the assessment.  The sexuality test results were that I have a moderate preference for straight people over gay people. I find this to be true, more so because I am a straight woman. 
All-in-all, I feel these assessments are quiet inaccurate. I don't feel that is a good way to assess leaning more one way rather than the other. These assessments were based on how fast you answer depending on which questions and words.
