They have made a lot of movies, shorts and commercials in their time but their most popular is 'Wallace & Gromit', their first short movie involving the two released in 1989. Since then, they've been in multiple ads, shorts, and even a full length movie which was also awarded 'Best animated feature' in 2005. In addition, Aardmans first feature length film 'Chicken run', was the reason why animated films were now a category at the Oscars.

The Nightmare Before Christmas (also known as Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas) is a 1993 American stop-motion animated musical dark fantasy film directed by Henry Selick (in his feature directorial debut) and produced and conceived by Tim Burton. It tells the story of Jack Skellington, the King of "Halloween Town", who stumbles upon "Christmas Town" and schemes.

It took about 3 years to make Nightmare Before Christmas. Director Henry Selick started working on the project in early 1991, and it was released in 1993.

The movie was made using stop-motion animation, which is a time-consuming process that requires animators to physically move each character or object one frame at a time. In total, there are more than 110,000 frames in the movie.

It took 110,000 frames to make Nightmare Before Christmas. The stop-motion animation process is extremely time consuming and painstaking, but the result is often worth it.
